Orange Goblin tonight £2.50 to get in
Islington academy. Beers at 86 prices and hobgoblin are sponsoring, so there might be nice beers there too.
I've got a spare if someone wants to buy me a beer

-
• #590
how's your head?

Not that bad actually. I'm a little surprised and disappointed in myself £1 a pint for hobgoblin and £1.50 for rum and cokes. I then went back stage for more beers, got home around 1ish
Good night, the new Goblin songs are pretty heavy live, good stuff

I saw that and presumed it was a typo. I couldn't make it anyway but am now more pissed off seeing as it was cheap.

Oh and if any of you get the chnace to catch it the Bobby Liebling, from 70s doom pioneers Pentagram, documnetary 'Last Days Here' was shown as part of the London Film Festival this week.
It is more about Bobby than the music but charts his journey from the late 60s to today. It's an amazing film and if it was fiction rather than documnetary you wouldn't beleive it.
Not masses of music in it but great none the less. If you can catch it I'd recommedn it.

Melvins were totally boss.
Heard rumours of a joint show with Sleep in May. That might be quite good...

I just posted on the gigs thread ...
Dale Crover.
'King' Buzz Osbourne.
Gods, the pair of them.

For the gig, I dug out the t-shirt they gave me in return for selling their t-shirts at the Underworld 20 years ago, Bivouac supporting. Old t-shirts rock.
Do post any links re: the 2012 shows if ya please!

Resuming normal service, another new song from mastodon
Mastodon: Spectrelight - YouTube
rather looking forward to this album now (It's available for pre-order from relapse if that's your thing)
that's good, sounding more like their Blood Mountain stuff.
Somehow I've missed this thread before. I love metal.
