    3rd October... Thursday yo

  • okay. do i need a ticket?

  • wouldn't hurt... I'd get one if I were you

  • Suppose I'd better start asking the gf. for a pass...

  • twelve quids!

  • twelve quids!

When you buy yours, then I'll buy mine.

  • this is london my friend

  • ?

  • 12 quid = outrageous. i can't even get a blagger

  • kev - i have bought you one...

  • bring the 'presents'

  • You think a 12 quid ticket for a gig is expensive? Seriously? I think thats quite reasonable.

  • London prices, £12 isn't that bad to my mind.. compared to say £44 for soundgarden

At least you didn't kick a baby

  • You bought me one? Cool! Now all I have to do is dump the baby on the gf for the night and I'm sorted...

Do you want me to get you anything in return for the ticket?

  • This thread is moving too fast for me now. OK I hear you.

  • Looking forward to Ufomammut now.

Anyone got any links for the band "Om" ? What sort of music are they ?

  • ^ Om are very difficult to describe. I guess loosely speaking it's 'doom' or 'psyche' or something. They're totally amazing though, so just go listen.

  • Om - On the Mountain at Dawn

Psychedelia-laden drone, I haven't listened to much of their new stuff, but from memory it's less stoner doom than early albums. Al Cisneros used to be in Sleep too of course, which makes them worth a listen regardless.

this, they have a shaman keyboardist now as welll.. he's pure awesome. little dissapointed the original drummer Al left, it's lost a little of that something special, but it's still an amzing gig

I'm going when they play soon... go it's totally worth it

  • Om 25th November
When I think of Om, it's this song for me

  • Nice, reminds me a lot of Can...

  • ^^ Same here CP. They were super chilled at Primavera, some friends complained how 'un-heavy' it was but I loved it.
