  • I'm gonna be the first to say it, but that looks really silly.

  • Peng...

  • 5 frames from the 70s, 90s & 10s
10 bottom brackets, road & mtb of various quality & cost

Never faced a frame, never had a problem

  • Peng...

    This... And fbo?

As for bb's, podge, how many of those were external bb's? It's only externals were they recommend facing isn't it?

  • This... And fbo?

There are disk caliper mount on the rear, but with track dropouts. Er...

  • All of them were / are external

It's really not an issue people should be worrying about

  • Cool, that was basically what I'd hoped.

What would actually happen if the threads didn't line up properly? Worn axle or bearings?

  • bearings.

Apart from needing 2 BB's per frame?

It's not the biggest deal in the world but should help things last a bit longer.

  • Oops, Fixcraft got it wrong.

  • pukes on freewheel

  • "Create x Fixcraft"

Yes, every time I destroy a BB with Peak District mud & grit I replace a BB on a different frame to keep my average equal.

The biggest issue with HT2 BBs is the seals but they are cheap enough to not care

  • Makes sense. Symmetry is important.

  • Yes, every time I destroy a BB with Peak District mud & grit...

    Sheffield polo courts are rough...

  • I know why Luca is lurking.

    KABOOM

11.2kg without paint or optimal chainset/saddle/seatpost.

I finished it just before we shut. I've only sat on it so far.

  • I guess this has been resolved... ;)
Nice one, Jimmy, she's a beaut...

  • sweet! looks awesome! gotta try that out.

still want the NS back ;)

  • Luca, PM me about the NS if you're serious...

Essentially you can have the frame, headset, forks and wheelset for the same moneys I bought the frame for? It has a massive dent in the chainstay since you last had it, but I have chased and faced since the stuck BB so all is good in the BB dept. Let me know as soon as possible as I can't really have it cluttering up my shop, and taking it home is a no no as far as the missus is concerned.

  • it'll be a shame not to see it at the court under new hands... but It's fucking bombproof so it'll live a long life and I'm sure will see the court again.

  • yeah ill put 700cs in it and have a 700 jump bike. totally on trend

  • that looks freaking sweet jimmy

  • There's probably clearance for a 700 in the rear you know. But you'll defo need some 29er forks.

The trend for 2013 is 650B, anyway.

  • Nice jimmy, can't wait to see this on court....gold hubs for the win!!!

  • 650b?! Scoble played that out early 12. Move on.
