Uhm...
Point missed. Never mind. -

Don't use too much or you'll lubricate your brake blocks.

Aye, number one question from poloistas with cable oilers is "Why is my disc squeeking?"
incidentally, came into possession of some leaky Hope C2's I'm hoping to rescue enough for polo.

Do people just use oilers on Nokons? I never found the need on standard cables, although I did pull them out and lubricate regularly if I had a full outer to the rear brake.

PTFE ftw.

The good thing about using them on Nokon is you can piece it all together nicely and use smaller sections which is helpful.

Mocking up the new frame. Used some crappy forks strapped down to the length of P2s.
Stem is at the height it will be.
I want some Gusset Jury forks but can't afford them, I think I might buy some second hand straight forks and cut them down to the length I want. Tempted to cut the rear end but keep the seat stays as they are, pulling this in will steepen my headtube which is quite slack atm. -

How high's the BB?
That's a lorra lorra seatpost!
-
• #8635
Not that much. 400mm post with 130mm inside the frame. BB is at 310mm there, with the Gusset fork (403 a/c) it'd be at 290mm I think.

Anybody want a custom 31t 104bcd 4 bolt chainring, custom made by homebrewed components. I ordered it back in February, and it arrived today, and I don't need it anymore. It's never been used.

Any 160 rotor recommendations?

Luca, you just need a new "cosmic rocket" cap, than you're sorted.
I have one of those stems (new) if anyone wants to buy. PM me, I'm happy to be the middle man for the sale. Otherwise it's going back to Greg via Seabass.

What it is, and why is it so special?

Not to worry, Found that I can't afford it for another couple of weeks anyway. Didn't want to call dibs then bail.

Greg left one at my place, but I had no use for it. So he told me to either sell it on his behalf or return to him.

ah, the 'innovative' stem, that isn't innovative.
-

Agreed, it's perhaps beautifully simple, but I'd prefer less stressed bolts and to have a stem stay put on the steerer when moving your bars (and vice versa).
Yes, that's how you lubricate it.
