the bolts for my springs have rounded and have gotten loose, theres no worse feeling than unclipping whilst doing side hops when you lose balance or when you heavily acclerate. might have to put my road spds on for the weekend.
also what is the deal with the joust? why so expensive? i have been emailing gianluca from RC and their frame works out at around £400. its alot of money and for £150 more i can get something exactly specified for me...

That's pretty reasonable from RC, they should make that better known and they would have loads of orders.
The Joust won't be around too long if it stays at that price. Too many other (better) options at lower prices.
Exciting times.

Turned out single release was perfect.
Anyone got any spd pedals to sell me for my fixed gear? Just some standard ones, not with the platforms.
Also possibly a 700 fixed rear wheel, for what will become my beater. (The IRO, my old polo bike)

at last, somebody managed to put the v-brakes in the right place!

it's light too! 1.95kg (claimed), that's only 250g more than my Ti frame, and the fork is 1kg, that's super light.
I wonder if it's strong?

Does anyone have a spare cleat bolt?
-
• #6872
just take one out of adam's shoe.
-
• #6873
Yep that's what I did last time I needed one.
I'll bring it tonight if I remember.

I'm gonna bet those stays stay in-line as well as Pompinos (for the bigger riders). Looks good though.

With nokon brake sets, is there any benefit to having a continuous housing run to the rear brake? My frame has got the kind of TT cable guides that leave ~30cms of bare brake cable showing in the middle. I could ignore those and just ziptie the cable to the TT though. Which would have less friction?
cool, will bring them down then.
