They're both pretty much identical to any "normal" seat post (between 15 and 25mm of offset).

Ah, so not as much at the VO grand cru which has 30.2mm

Exactly, that VO post is/was ridden by Max I think?
It's meant to be good quality.Max broke it. -

So which saddles have the longest rails? I've never checked how long the rails on my Charge Bucket are, just got it rammed back as far as it'll go on my Thomo layback...
-
• #6581
Pretty sure there are some downhill MTB saddles that make a big thing about having extra long rails.
-
• #6582
How far back are people trying to go? You won't be able to get any power transfer if you go back too much? You also will have a "whack" straight-line handling bike if you put too much weight over the back wheel*.
*Unless you're a pivot/maneuvering king like Cam.

There was a Tioga saddle. Not sure if it's still in production but it was huge.

Fizik Ariones are really long although the back tip of the saddle is pretty flimsy.
DDG make "super cromo" long saddles and the Tioga DH B/W saddle has been discontinued now I think, Ali may still have one lying about... they probably replaced it with a new model (they do those long weird plastic saddles too).

Planet X do a cheap fizik rip-off.
I got one on an old bike I bought a couple of days ago and it's alright. Gonna stick it on.My nice ti flight got smashed on the flight back from Lausanne.
The ti smashed out of its holding casing. -

I've alway found that i can put my Charge Stool back further than others i've tried, and its stood up to plenty opf abuse with out wearing out/tearing/ripping...
ymmv obv....

Finally sorted my polo bike, it's taken ages and I got a bit of a bum deal on the frame. I managed to buy a very pre-bruised Bruiser with misleading photos and it's taken a fair bit of time to get it finished.
Planning to upgrade the wheels soon and maybe look at bmx cranks.
