So, I've managed to bend my DAMP forks in Karlsruhe. Damn. No longer rides straight with no hands and you can visually see one leg veering away from the other.
Anyone got anything 32mm rake and 405 A-C? long shot but anything close would be considered.
The identiti ffx forks are an option at 30mm rake and 425 A-C, how would that change the handling? Would I even notice?
Shit man, that sucks.
But since it's a polo specific bike, don't they give you some sort of warranty on it? -

do you give warranty in your poles Ale?? polo specific

My poles don't cost 800€.

Neither did my frame, thankfully.

Let's try bending them back first spoons

I can not imaging any maker or frame builder giving any warranty for any polo stuff, from frames to shafts to simple balls
maybe in the future when product are really, really desing for polo, but not at the moment -

If there is no manufacturing fault then there's no reason why bits should be replaced by the manufacturer.
MTB and BMX riders all accept it, ride in to stuff or off things and bits get broken, end of.

yep, tbh i'm grateful I can still ride and play on the forks. I think I know when it happened. Full tilt sprint down the court, trying to save a goal, applying brakes on slippy surface as I go past the post, straight into the wall. Why wouldn't they bend.
I really should be billing which ever defense player was on court at the time for not having the goal covered.
edit: Just spoke with Per from DAMP, he is making me a new pair of forks! He's been having some troubles recently but is back on it.

I'm on it. Both counts.

been trying different cleat/pedal combos today.
for freewheel, I think shimano multi-release is perfect. the release is way easier than time, easier than shimano single release, but still firm enough to stay clipped in in other situations.
just putting it out there for those spd people who are wrecking their knees. (could be me this evening)

i'm bringing flats and trainers if I don't feel good on spds in pre game practice.

I thought about writing "not foot-downing as much" but it reads a bit awkward, no?
-
• #4298
Shouldn't it be 'footing-down'?
-
• #4299
I'm not sure. I figured that by hyphenating foot-down, one is creating a single term (is it a compound word if there is a hyphen?)...
But. I don't know.

Per from DAMP is awesome, he's making me new forks. whoop.
Sorry to here about the DAMP forks snoops, NS have one on there website called the ANALOG. Its 405 A-C and 26mm rake. Even comes in black. I found it looking while looking a replacing the fork on my bike. Would be a close match to the DAMP one if you can get it.
