  • super sweet, us londies should organise a trip up and do an alldayer after Karlsruhe. Has Dom played there yet?

  • no; he came a couple of times before the court was built, but havent really seen him in a while.

  • i know he's been away. I need to call him anyway.

  • I put a pair of these, http://www.discountbicycles.co.uk/biz/product.php?xProd=4627, north road style bars on a few weeks ago. I really like them. They bring my position back a bit, without me whacking my knees off the bars when sprinting out of the saddle (which happened with a super-short stem), and seem to make playing 'back-hand' (any other term for crossing over to you non-mallet-hand side?) a bit easier. Hopping felt weird at first, but now seems okay.

    They look shit though.

  • Are they Reece 'used to be round the corner by the polo court' handlebars?

  • Just picked up one of these bad boys for goalie duties... You're welcome to use it for the BM, Mrak...

  • Are they Reece 'used to be round the corner by the polo court' handlebars?

No, they're 'etc', another cheapy brand, but less cheap than those in the picture.

  • I'm blasting a hole through that this weekend for sure.

  • Hehehe... :D

    They look sweet, Max...

  • they do look sweet max, i'm with cam though. :)

  • My only bike and polo bike

  • looks good ali

  • did you get that stem from Halfords?

  • Are those your B-Mix forks?!

  • What happenend to the disc brakes?

  • did you get the stem from halfords?

ha! was about 5 bucks from a second hand store. I wanted to run flat bars for the shifter.

  • As for the rear disk! I went to buy a bb7 at a store here and the centerlock fixing on the hub has been bashed and dented, probably when I was flying. So I have to stick with V's for now. The forks are from my Bmix, there really short (less than 380mm axle to crown).

  • can we find the geek house bike somewhere ? (26" right ?)

  • looks rad! did you get the twist shift?

  • cheers max,
Got the new shifter for it today. Its a nexus 8spd twist shift, have heard you can use them with alfine so i thought i would give it a go. My alfine rapid fire shifter got pretty trashed.

  • i've put some bmx cranks on my polo bike, but the q factor is insane.

is there a company who sells narrower splined axles than normal?

i think the axle i have is 155mm..

  • ok nevermind, i think 155mm is wider than normal and i need to get a standard axle.

  • What cranks are they?

A Q factor of ~170mm, measured from one outside pedal boss face to the other, is considered narrow for bmx cranks (without modification). This is still generally wider than a lot of road and mountain bike cranks.

  • howlllllll!!!!! fucking sweet!
