halo SAS - 36mm wide!
ALEX DH19 - seems a bit more normal...
Salsa gordo - opinion on Salsa rims?
Sun CR18 - any good? I can't find the rhyno lite 48H in 26"
sun rhyno lite XL - a little wide, cheap
Rigida Andra 30 Tungsten Carbide Rim - this looks awesome dude. SJS has stock, but manufacturer doesn't list them. profile looks good.
cheap rigida - could be OK to try.
Velocity chukker - where can I buy 26? are BLB the only option?Has anyone seen any OTHER 48h 26" rims being made?
Had a read on leagueofbikepolo and the gordo is rated, but if noone pipes up I'll probably try a cheap option and just buy a spare.

Do you really need a 48h on a 26" wheel?
I was thinking of it some time ago, but as Gabes and Em pointed out, a well built 36h with decent spokes will be just as strong and suitable on a smaller wheel as a 48h on a larger wheel.

what are they?
quite possibly yes

It looks like some mounts to attach a "cage"..
-
• #3739
The hook is to prevent the cage from going above the eye-brow line when secured and the nuts are basically those for the adjusters.
Should have included the link :) http://demonxtreme.com/product.php?xProd=2189
Will be placing an order for them on Monday hence do let me know if you need any.

Has anyone got any 104bcd chain rings around the 30t mark? I need 2 if poss and a bash guard if anyone haz?
Also I'm wondering if 700c straight rake forks, 1" with V brake bosses exist in the world? Even without bosses at a push. -
• #3741
104bcd only go down to 32t.

Went up to 14 for a hub today and nothin', Keith said they've had to send loads of the Goldtecs back and there was nothing else in stock... Jan did me a cheap deal on this cuz they only had a couple left... Beefy as fuck, it should suit my balls-to-the-wall, suicide-commando-on-amphetamines playing style... And so on... Might buy the front as well now...

Yorgo has them, and if the freewheel is big (20t +) then the freewheel body rubs on the spoke shoulders. Unless they have tweaked the design.

Wait for the new "freestyle" hub. They looks sweet.

Jan gave me a spacer to sort this out...

I know you can run a freewheel on a fixed hub just with less thread to screw on to, but I'm still surprised there aren't more fixed/free 48 hole hubs. The only one I know of is the Milwaukee?
-
• #3747
fixed/free is wank though. profile make them as well.

How come?
-
• #3749
as mentioned, you can fit a freewheel on a fixed. so makes it obsolete really

Does anyone have 32t then?
(the bloke sold the crank arms with a 22t. Strange)If I were to have a fork built, are there any specifics I should ask for?
Joe, I had a Phil Wood hub you could've had, but it's lost in my flat somewhere, or I left it at Downham... this isn't helping is it?
