  • Fuck me Todd, you've got waaaaaay too much time on your hands. And way too much style too. That looks the business.

  • niiice! i can't help but feel you might regret tacoing that frame? haha! anyways, if your not bothered, your bike will no doubt soon be Object-ionised. :D

  • poor forks

  • Yea, thin, round bladed track forks are strong laterally but in head on impacts, not so good.

  • Yeah thought that.
Was considering replacing them but will have to wait until I can afford a replacement.

I appreciate it's a nice enough frame but the whole bike has cost me a lot less than quite a few of the polo bikes I've seen on the court.
It's made up of cheap finds and salvaged bits so I'm happy to not be so precious with it.

I'd much rather have something a bit tougher and built for wider tyres...

My friend Matt, who most of you have met, is building up the old frame which is cool.

  • so matt will be playing more?

  • Yep. I've been trying to get him playing for ages.
I reckon he'll be up for joining a team soon too.

Should be with us this weekend...

  • i love that todd, no room for brakes though?

  • cheers M.

  • sunday it is, but i warn you now that its a particulary ugly shimano deore one..

  • as mr. teenslain said no one looks at the non drive side. but if mikes is prettier...

  • Thanks Brendan.
Funny you should say that about room for brakes...
My clamp-on rear has 'just' been delivered!

Had a whizz about on it last night and it felt really solid.
Looking forward to testing it against MT today...if they turn up! ;-)

  • hey Todd, do you want to design BAD's new season T's i love tomasitos shirt. ethical ftw

  • Would love to!

  • great i'll chat sunday with you bout it. Pm coming too. sweet.

  • Who's BAD!?

    Add faces for comedy value!

  • pfft! no thanks.

  • he he.

  • owww!

  • That is a good-looking piece of steal!

  • dale found these.

Straight Gauge spokes with an extra thick shoulder.

  • Nice! And not that pricey either. Dave?

  • since swapping to plain guage i've decreased the number of spokes i go through, but they all snap at the shoulder now, so those above should be good. bit pricey if you go to 48h though

  • How long before someone gets one of these?
