it's better than a lot of people's first polo bikes, so that's good! I'm not a fan of bull horns for polo - they can get a bit stabby.

Do you use the larger chainring for polo? i guess not, in which case you need to find a way to cover it up in game (attack chain round it/take it off) otherwise peoples legs will get fucked
A guy uses a create here in Manchester, the frames are nowhere near as bad as forum legend would have you believe -

looks like the large chainring is on the inside, so I'd guess he's less likely to get the chainsaw effect? -
• #2487
Good point I haven't thought of that, yes the larger chainring is on the inside. Is that really bad then? I don't want to hurt people!

Your fork is backwards? the clearence and geometry on that frameset looks much tighter then my create, probably its just the 55cm and the larger tyres by the looks of them. -

true that. the components are shite but the frames arent bad.
looks great built up like that. lose the bullhorns for sure

Yeah looks good, put on some risers and it'll be a great polo bike.
I guess if the bigger ring was on the inside it is less likely to chainsaw, what with the chain being on the outside smaller one, still, why not HTFU and just use the 2 biggest difference cog you can fit in the dropouts? (or no diff at all like most of us freewheelers) -
• #2491
looks like forks have been crashed
-
• #2492
They haven't ;) they are the previous generation of create frames, I think the newer ones are much more rake.
I have the original risers that I've choped as well, I'll swap them soon. -
• #2493
Much toe overlap?
The components arnt even crap. just the pedals, chain, BB and tyres . most of its just unbranded decent parts.
-
• #2494
oh yeah forgot, I've got a KMC Kool chain on there, new BB. The only stock stuff on there would be the seatpost and its collar, the cranks (sugino unbranded), headset and the choped risers.
