Wow, pretty impressive reaction from Cinelli, they must be taking polo sponsorship seriously...
Crazy money.
-
• #1081
but for that kind of money, you could buy a bike that wont snap on it's first crash.
-
• #1082
For that kind of money, I'd want a bike with an automatic anti-crash system.

he was playing really well yesterday

i'm sure they're lovely bike to ride and play on, but, they are alu and made for the track, wouldn't they just fail on a heavy impact (esp T-Bone)?
I guess we'll see. like jono said, great that cinelli stepped up and sponsored them though!
-
• #1085
I wonder if they'll keep sending them replacements, or maybe it's just ignorance on Cinelli's part?
-
• #1086
that's fucking nuts! ha! cinelli must be bonkers.

fixed for ya;)
Actually, if the Archie Wilkinson frames survive a few months of polo, I'm sure an alu. Cinelli would last just as long...

i ride alu and carbon polo bike. my bike is falling apart, but not due to the alu or the carbon. i do worry about the forks but there has been no sign of damage or weakening, what i thought was the forks cracking turned out to be my front hub falling apart so all in all i have nothing but good things to say about it. it's very light.
but my next polo bike will be steel.

I've played with carbon forks for 3 years now. No problem. And I've had a few t-bones eh..
-
• #1091
héhéhé
we'll see w/ my bike.. but this frame is just crazy. fot the fork... i guess cinelli will replace it if broken..or we ll find Moutain bike forks.
the good thing is: if we had cinelli, i m pretty sure other brands will give bikes and men from cinelli are really good, they did not ask us to be human ads, just to play with the bikes!! good deal

Archie mark 2 (still needs a 28 rear tyre, hub adjusting and creaky crank fixed):
Sacrilege?
