i like my sliders, you have to check the tension from time to time, but no probs with them.
-
• #10178
sliders give you the option of swapping them out with others if needed to change the geometry too.
Be permanently on (or off) trend! -

Cool, thanks
I'm swaying toward an oak x magic at the moment, steel should be easier to fix if I crash it and buying local is always good.
Going to make up my mind next week and order one of them

If I were buying now I'd probably be looking at those too!
I love my sliding dropouts even though I'm not running a rear disc. I've only had to retension once, and as neil pointed out, can change the dropouts if I want to run gears/drop or heighten the rear end.

Putting this up here... just because there's no fixiefoxie here yet.
I love this bike. On a few stronger parts I'm still working, like stem and cranks.

I have a Lynskey titanium single speed custom built Speedway frame which would make a perfect polo bike :) I'm trying to put it up in classifieds but still too new on here.

There were quite a few instances of Archie Wilkinson speedway frames being used for polo but those were quite a few years back. Got the geo of your said frame?

Sliding dropouts.... Once built, they could be the first polo bikes in the Bike Porn thread!
Probably not though.
