What are the chances of sorting some sunday practise out?
My mallets are made and finished off now - a Euro one cent fits the end of the ski pole perfectly - nice.

the blue racer is on ebay, going to persue the halfrauds special that's technically my brothers..i'm sure he wont notice/mind.

we've tried sunday games before, and they've always proved less popular than wednesdays and also have the knock-on effect of diminishing those turnouts. however, i'm always up for giving it a go, and there's been a recent change in the people coming, so maybe it'll work this time.

if you can get at least one of your mates to join you, (with a bike!) that would help get us started.

what time would be convenient for you? bare in mind it's going to be dark at 4.30ish soon. i'd like to try morning polo (10am-12/1pm, maybe) so it doesn't take over the whole day and leaves everyone space to have sunday lunch/dinner whenever it is they like to have it.

also, sunday games could be played at highgate, which is a far superior court to calthorpe.

I can find out where highgate is - tick
I can find a friend (or more) with bikes - tick
I have two mallets - tick

My mummy says i can play out as long as i'm home for dinner (1.30 ish, so play til 1 ish)

So morning play would be bestest for me as by time i've stuffed my face and moved my fat arse it'd be 3 ish before I got into brum.

yeah, he did. i texted him today about playing on wednesdays now he's unemployed, but he didn't get back to me. maybe he'll make a return to the court for this...

matt said he'd probably come too, so it's looking positive so far.

Welldone to all the first/second timers, all played really well. I was worried for a while there that BHM Bike Polo was going to fold over the winter but 8 players last night! I'll now put my thinking hat on for sorting the court out fo the winter!
