  • I particularly like Jamie Jackson. (I don't)
    http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/feb/26/david-moyes-glazer-rebuild-manchester-united

No comments allowed on that propaganda page.

  • Aye read that earlier, it's laughable.

I particularly like the 'Pulled off a coup by prising Mata away from a direct rival' line.

Chelsea snapped their hands off at £38m for a peripheral player, who can't play for united in the CL (and prob never will).

  • It's his picture I hate the most.

  • Such is the faith in Moyes that the ambition for 2014-15 is not to finish in a Champions League position but to win a 21st domestic title.

    PMSL

I will wager £10 with anyone who cares to that this will not happen

    LOL it gets better

Moyes has installed a bespoke facility that houses whiteboards, computers, high-definition screens, iPads and other state-of-the-art digital technology at United's training ground. This allows the manager easy access to data on players of all positions, ages and career trajectory from around the world, while also maintaining immediate contact with a global network of scouts.

WOW that sounds great. I shall save the rest for lunchtime

    An office.

  • Games room.

  • I'd say this was nearer Moyse's level

  • puts thread on ignore until after xmas

    fml.

  • fml.

Best put it on ignore until about xmas 2018 I'd say.

  • England squad for the Denmark friendly:

Defenders: Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Steven Caulker (Cardiff City), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Luke Shaw (Southampton), Chris Smalling (Manchester United),** Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur)**.

Midfielders: Ross Barkley (Everton), Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Southampton), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), James Milner (Manchester City), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Andros Townsend (Tottenham Hotspur), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal).

Forwards: Jermain Defoe (Toronto FC), Rickie Lambert (Southampton), Jay Rodriguez (Southampton), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), Daniel Welbeck (Manchester United).

    LOL

  • I've been invited to WHL, tonight.. a chance to meet Pat Jennings, Ossie Ardiles et al.. being a gooner, it'll be fun at someone else's expense... hahahahahahaha

    LOL

What do the names in bold indicate?

  • That it is a seriously shit squad. Now would be the perfect time to cut the dead wood from the squad and go there with a young and hungry squad that might actually learn something from the experience.

Cole, Johnson, Carrick, Gerrard, Lampard, Milner, Defoe, Lambert shouldn't be in the squad. Not sure what Lambert or Rooney on current form would contribute.

  • Mostly agree with Jaw but Henderson has played himself into the squad in recent weeks. I don't mind Milner. The all graft no craft thing is nonsense. Never looks out of his depth playing at City.

Cleverley though. Fuck me he is waaaaaaaank.

  • If you insist on Henderson fair enough, he's stepped up since last season but that wasn't exactly very difficult. Milner is a whole load of meh. Don't get me started on the English Xavi Hernandez/Iniesta hybrid.

  • 香川真司 CL オリンピアコス戦 Shinji Kagawa vs Olympiacos - YouTube

Incredible how static things look in the compilation. The only guy that's trying to move the ball is Kagawa. It'll be difficult for him to get game time I reckon considering Moyes loves playing it out wide and bang 'em in the box with no end product.

Are Kagawa and Mata too much alike to play in the same starting XI. I'd say if you field both, than you'd have to play one of them out of position and it's not going to be their most expensive signing ever, is it?

  • We are shit and we should accept it. Like a conference team in the 5th round of the FA cup we should take pleasure at being there.

The question is not who shouldn't be in the squad, its who should be in there instead? Any great omissions? I can't really think of many who are knocking on the door

Take out one or two of the youngsters and replace them with the older ones that I've taken out but I can't see why this bunch of players would do any worse than the squad Hodgson has announced.

    anyway, England thread >>>>>>>>>>>

  • She can come round mine at watch it. I'd split her defence.

  • Charming.

  • Wow. At least Man U are aren't misogynist in their shitty treatment of others.

Fabian Delph would be worth a go, but to be honest with that strike force doesn't really matter who's in the team. Massively shit.

  • Charming.

Please don't take me seriously. I wouldn't go near a United fan for a start.
