Let him mature a couple of seasons in the Eredivisie. Ola John's transfer to Benfica hasn't worked out and I honestly think that the likes of Doyen Sports are a bunch of thieving cunts.

five and a half year contract worth 300,000gbp a week or a cool 86m deal.
Worth every penny?

Complete utter madness and grossly inflated. Man Utd are acting like a headless chicken at present, it's a lot of fun to watch from the sidelines. I can only imagine that Ferguson is having heart palpitations at the moment.

So Liverpool are the form team. We have to sort out our away record though to have any chance of a top 3 finish

As much as I admire athletes getting as much as they can get, whilst they can get it #keepgettingthemchecks is giving Rooney a pay rise for not even being the best player in his own team, the best business from man utd.
Feel like they should have let his contract run, or sold him off and used the money to invest in a younger option. Maybe it's to keep van Persie on side, maybe their thinking about their marketability but don't believe Rooney does enough to warrant the overspend.. -

Pun in the last six games you've only got 1 point more than spurs, and despite the dazzle of beating arsenal 5-1 and everton 4-0, you've drawn 2-2 with villa and 1-1 with west brom, and only just managed to finagle a win at fulham with gerrard's late late late penalty.

do you feel you've been rock solid over the last few weeks?
At home yes... Villa BR admitted he messed up. West Brom at home are no easy 3 points and the only reason we dropped points was toure... the two goals shipped at fulham were cockups.. Agger being back will help.
I guess we shall see, I'm looking forward to the upcoming matches now..
You guys have had a good run under sherwood, but mostly 'easier' teams

got to be a statement of intent, CL looks out of reach, They have the money to 'bribe' players not to play in the CL. I'm actually hoping they get europa next year
Looking forward to seeing that liverpool kit...

Punnage, that's why I'm concerned about March, we've been on a good run against teams below us, now we need to use that confidence and form to take points off those above us, and I'm not so sure we'll be able to do that. Especially as currently we are SO dependent on Adebayor to score goals. I'd be a lot happier if goals were being spread a bit wider...

manure seems so desperate to keep rooney as a statement of intent / to show people they aren't a failing club
it smacks of desperation to memoyes couldn't let a fans fave slip through the net or it would be his head on the chopping block
rooney isn't even in the top 10 players in the world and he is now the highest paid
pathetic -

Rooney is overrated. He could have been a great but he don't think his life style allows for that.
Great article on the failure specialist above

'kin hell! The way you 2 talk you'd think that Liverpool have won the title 8 times over the last 13 years.
-
• #97892
well do you think rooney is worth 80mn ?
costa plus 150K wages would make more sense for the next 5 years
plus manure are now stuck with rooney for life, as he joins fergie in the clubs ambassador ranks ... poor man utd

They have if you're still stuck in the 80s.
