  • Let's hope I'm right eh.

for once I totally agree with you

  • Is Rodwell injured?

Even so, I'd have shifted Zabaleta in field (where he has played before) and brough Richards in at right back

Meh, seemed Pellegrini got out thought and City for once looked a little one dimensional. Though losing Aguero, Nasri and Fernandinho is hardly to be taken lightly.

  • I think Arsenal will lose points over the next 4 weeks and I think they will lose to Bayern Munich over two legs (as I think any team in the world would) but I think if we can stay within a result of the top team then there is a chance of us having a shot - we are at least consistent this season.

  • It's totally up for grabs (apart from Libpool and the Spuds, obvs)...

    Should be a good run-in...

  • The Kinnear shit is a joke.

Newcastle are a decent side with cracking supporters but they have an owner is a fucking chump of the highest pedigree.

  • I'm sad. The lolster Kinnear and NUComedyClub were made for each other.

  • Not one player signed in a whole year!!!!

  • judge him on his signings

  • well he didn't sign any flops
and made a tidy profit for the club on his one bit of transfer dealing
maybe liverpool should enquire after his services we haven't had a joker on the payroll since comolli left

  • Yes, the club is more financially stable, because it has just received £19 million cash injection without spending a penny! We have 4 out and out strikers. Remy isn't ours, De Jong (looks shit and) isn't ours, Shola isn't going to get a contract extension at the end of the season and cisse is off to russia. How financially stable is a 'business' where you strategically sell off your assets to make up for shortfalls in tv revenue and prize money because the side is shit and doesn't win anything. ever.

  • My assessment would be less damning.

You have first refusal on Remy - I imagine you will take this.

LdJ is not shit. He will provide cover for Remy and can score goals.

I know we don't agree on Cisse (I think he is a very good player) - Newcastle should have loaned him out if Pardew doesn't really want to play him.
Pardew insists on playing Sissoko out wide Move him central alongside Tiote and allow a front 4 of Gouffran, Ben Arfa, De Jong and Remy.

You can see why they wanted Cabella/Grenier as that is the player they're missing.

    Richards???
    Really?

'Loin reveals why he's not a premier league manager.

  • I agree with most of that i guess. QPR must still be odds on to get promoted, and i doubt redknapp will sell after that. We are still 4 or 5 decent players away from everton, who, are realistically the level above where we are at the moment, and selling your best player does not smack of trying to get there.

  • hehe

But don't worry, they are not going to win the league. Apparently

  • Richards???
    Really?

'Loin reveals why he's not a premier league manager.

I think that would've been preferable to having Demichellis floundering in CDM.

Hazard's threat is carried mainly on him coming inside on his right - he takes most shots with his right and scores most with his right.

He has a lot of cross stats but not many assists from these, assists mainly come from passes inside the area.

I think Richards could have been tasked with this, with his more defensive nature.

Anyway, that's my opinion how I'd defend against Hazard, easier typed than done I guess.

  • Love this, Di Matteo is doing a Bogarde, whilst not even being at the club..

sack another manager but continue paying him £130,000-a-week

Yes, until June 2014 Roberto Di Matteo will continue picking up a tidy wage from the Blues.

  • That's exactly what you're doing with AVB, you muppet!

    PS Meet up later?

  • Is AVB still getting paid from Chelsea too?
Does that mean he is on 200K per week to sit around doing FA?
Maybe the odd round of golf, trip to the gym, massage parlour?

  • Pretty much... I think you lot are still paying Woy tho'...
    #glasshouses

  • he won't be getting paid by chelsea, when the manager is still getting paid they are on gardening leave, to take up another contract they have to break the initial contract therefore ending the gardening leave.

Thats why RDM hasn't taken up another position.

  • if you were a really crap manager you could be collecting three lots of 50k a week from three sackings
    who says crime doesn't pay

  • Arsenal are still paying George Graham.

Not that they know this of course.
