as tim said corny it won't be us. we will have adrian with us too most likely so don't expect you to hold seats for all of us if the place is full of plastics tonight. but catch you there all the same

City have been poor. There's a big Fernandinho-shaped hole in the team.
-
• #96837
Yup - looked poor without Fernandinho.
Jose got it right tonight.
Well played chelsea

• #96838
Well played Chelsea. Impressive.
City bottled it. Really poor when it mattered. -

18th century now ?
18th century or 19th century, its ancient as a style of play..
He was talking out of his arse actually: 19th century football typically featured 6 forwards and was very attacking.
Re tonight I was workin late and missed the first half. What actually happened?
The way the media had written Chelsea off plays right into Maureen's hands. He loves nothing more than being underdogs against the swashbucklers. kill the game in the centre and hit hard on the counter. His midfield were right at it and were first to every 50/50 and second ball. With quality like Hazzard, Willian, Oscar up front your defence can't rest.Pellegrini has never won anything and like I predicted will not win anything if pitched in the same league Maureen. He looks tactically inept when up against top drawer managers: Chelsea twice and Guardiola. I don't get why he didn't use the wings more. Was Navas playing?

No. That would be Kolo.

Out-thought yet again by Mourinho, however, Jose is like the smartest motherfucker who ever prowled a touchline, so no shame there really.
Chatting to some Chelsea fans in the pub post-match, decent set of blokes, but one was wearing red trousers.
CliveO must try harder.

also i loved the ivanovic head and shoulders celebration

Not a bad result for us last night. Pretty chuffed at not conceding against a team that hasn't failed to score at home for over 3 years. Jose's starting why we brought him back in. Don't care much for his theatricals but he got under the skin of a couple of City players during the match.
Thought Willian and Hazard were excellent and Matic did really well considering it was his first start. Who'd thought that Ivanovic could strike the ball with his left foot like that!
Still missing Mata but the team is starting to show the signs of becoming a real Mourinho side which usually means that trophies and tantrums will follow.

It is impossible to predict who will win the league this season. I think Chelsea now have to be favourites.

Until you change your mind next week...

At the very beginning of the season I said Chelsea but then Man City seemed to get their act together. Now it is too close to call.
