On the new Albion manager, what I find interesting is the search for him and the other names that came up. All good tactical managers who want their sides to play attacking football, and also their decision not to change the back room staff when a new manager was appointed as they want to keep the continuity of the club going.

Hope Tottenham do a similar thing, though I doubt it. Feels like in terms of management structure and organisation on the football side we are a good few years behind Albion..

@corny- you know most other clubs would have been in meltdown if it had taken 26 days to appoint a manager. Maybe we didn't get the first choice, maybe we changed our mind along the way and had to roll with the punches but I think ultimately we are laying down a marker that says 'we have a system that won't be compromised'. Could be wrong though. He is more attacking than Clarke and Hodgson by all accounts. Does this mean Peace was getting bored? Or is it a wild gamble to have a system in place and then mess it up with a coach that has a different philosophy to the system? End of the day, in two years time we will be looking again. Either he is great and another club will poach him or we will sack him.

Is Tadic any good? Left winger/midfielder?

Very good. He can play on both wings. He's a natural left winger but spends most time on the right drifting inside. By far the most talented player in the eredivisie. Very elegant player with a killer pass. Not so sure if he's made for the running game that is the PL. Martinez is trying to instill more of a passing game which should suit him but it could very well end up being another Bryan Ruiz.
Given that he plays regularly he'll get at 15/20 assists, easily. Should also score 10+ goals. I like him a lot, the only criticism is that he goes missing sometimes.
