Yes! I can't wait to see Defoe at TFC.
To answer your question, in the MLS there is a salary cap, which has to cover all players except 3. Those three players are payed by the club rather than the league, and there is no limit on how much they can be paid. So Defoe and Bradley will be two of them

United's spirits have been lifted.
By a new sponsorship deal with Aperol.

Damo, roboto - predictions for tonight?
I reckon 1-1, which I'd be happy with
-

Well, I'd be happy to get a draw as we haven't had a result at your place since 98/99 I think. If either team wins it'll only be by an odd goal.
We were unlucky to lose to you earlier in the season as we won the passing and possession etc. but you won the only stat that mattered.

We'll lose. No reverse hexing.

I hate that phrase. you had the better of the passing and possession. That parts not the competition.

Ooooof
PSG about to spunk £40MILLION on Paul Pogba plus a player.
I can't wait to hear how this, too, is Moyes fault.

The more I think about it, the more I think Chelsea will take the league. Maureen has the sign over Pellegrini.
Thoughts?

It's a three way between city, arsenal and Chelsea. Jose seems to have stayed in touch even though Chelsea have been weak this season. I still stand by my pre season prediction which will see Jose erupting in the next few months and going down inflames.
Season doesn't really start till the quarter finals of the champions league and the last ten games so we will see just exactly what each of these three teams can do when the real pressure starts. On paper Chelsea probably should nudge it but if arsenal city can prove their balls are hairy then Jose will crack. -

I'd go with City right now. There's strength on the bench without any drama or tantrums. They just seem to be getting on with things rather nicely. Can see Arsenal imploding. Liverpool have positively surprised me this season so far, as have Everton. The 2 scouse teams have a huge benefit vs. The other CL chasers as they haven't been involved in Europe.

Anyone seen any stats or comparisons on Evertons injuries under Martinez compared to Moyes?
Loving the shenanigans at Old Trafford by the way, slit the meedja carry on the way they are then overlord Ferguson will have an ASBO by the end of the month.

They're all getting their revenge after all these years of Ferguson's blacklists and vendetta's. He must have been tutoring Billy Davies since he retired.

Completely dominated that half, derby not in it, should be out of sight. Will end up 1-1...
-

We were alright in the opening exchanges then we let the game get away from us with alarming ease. Hendrick isn't a defensive midfielder and we can't cope with the pace of Dyer as per usual.

Hahahaha...
Lots of chat today about that state of United.
Jonathan Birchall has given a pretty damning verdict.
But as much as anything for me, Moyes show tactical incompetence - his midfield selection is bad, he allows Rooney to drop to deep, refuses to even consider the option of Zaha.
You can trot out whatever facts you want, this United team is bad and is only going to get worse. Vidic and Evra are off at the end of the year, RVP may well be perma-crocked and Chelsea are hovering around Rooney.
