You may as well watch an ice hockey franchise somewhere. For some supporters it's still about passion, tradition, family ties, and where you're from.
What's wrong with Ice Hockey? Do you think the passion or the ties of a Leafs or Canadiens fan is any less than a football fan, just because it's in a league designed around business and entertainment?

My only experience of ice hockey is with the Eisbären in Berlin, which was a strange mixture of Americanised bombardment with advertising, even during play, 38-year old Canadians trying to squeeze a few games more before they retired, and a mass of right-wing skinhead ultras who follow the Eisbären because BFC Dynamo went tits up.
My impression of US ice hockey was of teams that move around every few years, but maybe it's different in Canada, maybe that's unfair anyway, but who cares really, it's a crap sport anyway.

I had to laugh tommmm sorry mate. As I was reading those posts I almost expected that music from simon bate's 'our tune' to start up.
Before this becomes an polarised internet argument lets set the facts straight. I'm a lifelong Baggie from my dad's side. Been to plenty of matches. Probably got the second highest score on stadiums visited on this thread etc. love the crowd, love the passion but I draw a line at actually believing any of this shit and taking it seriously. -

Saw plenty of neo nazi violence at matches while following eintracht Frankfurt in 96/97. Just saying the German love in we are having at the moment needs a wider eye casting over it.

Despite the loss, that was a fantastic game. Some shit decisions, especially Raheem's offside. Seriously just give Louis Braille the flag to run the line next time.
Never saw the game due to family commitments.
Sounded like were harshly done by the ref who apparently was a Manc!Bring on the Chelsea game who will no doubt bottle it and park the bus, play for the draw as they do against teams they have no chance of beating

I think the ongoing natural order of East Midlands clubs in the championship is the important story as we go into 2014
Apparently derby are going to have to start playing some top half teams next year...
Hang on just a minute. We played the other top teams early on this season when we had the tactically backward son of Clough in charge. The only team we haven't played so far are bottom of the table Barnsley.
Tomorrow is the halfway point of the season and I am more than happy to be up near the auto spots at this point. I thought we'd be around 8th or 9th at this point at the beginning of the season. Your lot are usually around the top at this point every season then wet the bed as the new year begins. I look forward to more of the same.
Not long until we meet each other again anyway.

We're now debt-free. Forest might have a problem with FFP if they fail to get promoted
As are we, neither club has anything to worry about financially unless our respective owners pull the plug. Both clubs might also have a problem with FFP if we don't go up as I'd say our wages bills are most likely very similar. Let's not forget you're still paying out megabucks for the likes of Konchesky, Nugent, Morgan, Schmeichel and I bet St Ledger and King are on a fair whack.

Most of the big earners have gone, the last if the Sven legacy, and most of our players are out of contract at the end of the season.

West Brom have a lot of strikers don't they?
Anelka, Vyrdra, Berahino, Long, Anichebe, Rosenberg, Sinclair (sort of)...
-
• #94664
Actually maybe Anichebe and Rosenberg should be 'sort ofs' as well, based on their goalscoring records.

No Rooney or RVP for Man Utd
Annoying as I'd brought in Rooney for todays game

Rodwell can't even make the City side against Palace.

West Ham are going down. Can't even beat a managerless relegation candidate team at home >>>>

Pleased for the Hudd scoring on his birthday. It's only been 54 games. Just taken him 2 years.
-
• #94673
He's shit
-
• #94674
Still sulking then. He really is a good player. Looks too immobile but reads the game really well. Wouldn't be surprised if he moved on to one of the upper mid table teams like Everton or Newcastle at the end of the season.

Shit trolling.
Have you seen him play?
I haven't, because I'm a plastic and don't watch my team, but we sold him when we were broke. And I don't think we're too upset.
If only...
