  • But he won the Bundesliga with Bayern. He must be good.

That must be as hard as winning the SPL with Celtic.

  • Especially with Rangers playing in the Buckfast Division Three, or whatever league they're in.

  • van Gaal is just the man for Spurs, and over-rated (mainly by himself) arrogant prick.

MikeC - you'll beat us on Boxing Day, I'm going 1-3.

Your reverse jinxing won't work here. Liverpool will definitely lose this game. Perhaps shipping 5 or 6 goals in the process

  • I think we will get 3 points of out those 2 games.

  • Maybe anyone can win the league with Bayern, but when he left Dortmund won it before Bayern did the treble, so he must have been doing something right.

And how is he different from any other manager who picks where he wants to coach.. Guardiola at Bayern, Ancelotti at PSG and now Real Madrid, Mourinho at Inter and Real Madrid..

And if its all about winning van Gaal's done more than most..

  • Ahhh, blissful ignorance...they'd have you believe that Liverpool is awash with Liverpool supporters.

so cute you read it like that...

  • Sherwood confirmed as Tottenham boss on an 18 month contract. Looks like they've given up on Champions League qualification until the 2016 then.

  • What? No European manager with the experience of winning a league or knowledge of the 4-3-3 system?

  • Well...this game's shit

    Chelsea look fuck all

  • The worst thing is Liverpool will be top of the league at Christmas.

    And fifth by New Year.

  • Chelsea are shit

  • The worst thing is Liverpool will be top of the league at Christmas.

And doesn't that feel fucking great :)

  • The worst thing is Liverpool will be top of the league at Christmas.
    .

Woulda been us if it wasn't for Sturridge on 89mins

    #cunts

  • 2pnts between top and 5th....interesting 2 weeks ahead

  • Chelsea are shit

Chelsea played for the draw. They don't half play some shit football...can't remember the last time I saw them play well or I thought 'Fuck me...they look good'

  • Remember when Maureen moaned like fuck because Spurs came to Stamford Bridge and parked the bus?

  • yep

  • We are top now but I know it won't last so will enjoy it while it does
    :)

  • Love to see what Martinez could do with even a quarter of the money at Jose's disposal
Tired of Mourinho actually too....he was refreshing first time round but now he's just a tiresome sigh still trying to play mind games and confuzzle the media

  • Gawd that was shite. Blame the wind bollocks Jose and his parked bus anti football shite..

Timmy given 18 month deal.. Also known as until the end of the season unless you get CL football. Bit shocked. Presumably he wound't have got the job if we'd lost at southampton. Levy is having a tight christmas, trying to save some cash.

  • Woulda been us if it wasn't for Sturridge on 89mins

    Second on GD, shirley?

  • Errr no....cos they'd have two less points

  • Getting tasty at the top anyway

If we can get a midfielder or two and a competent striker in in January, we certainly keep the top 4 push going. We can't realistically win the league with the size of our squad, though.

City should win the title at a canter and I expect them to pull away by February/March. Chelsea and Arsenal are decent teams in dire need of a striker, whereas Liverpool are a thoroughly average team with a world class striker. None of those three have got enough to win the league either (he says reaching for his prayer mat, worry beads and Suarez voodoo doll).

  • Our next 5 games should....SHOULD yield 15 pnts on our current form:

    Sunderland (H)
    Southampton (H)
    Stoke (A)
    Norwich (H)
    West Brom (A)

Before we go to Anfield for a massive game

BUT after watching Everton for over 30yrs, knowing our luck we'll get injuries to Barkley, Barry, McCarthy, Howard, Jagielka and Lukaku over the next 2 weeks and we'll end up 7th come end of Jan

    :-(
