Anyone see the Steve Clark sacking coming?

Not sure how sensible a move that is

Madness...

So wondering whether city putting 6 past arsenal, provoke some arsenal in crisis headlines. Sure we played poorly against them, but they are more than a handful and it seems they can knock I the goals against anyone.
Didn't see the Clarke sacking coming. Where's clint to put us all straight. Has losing their director of football to England affected them that much? Seems pretty knee jerk, Albion have been a couple of poor decisions away from beating a couple of the big boys, so why get rid now?

38 points in more than a year?
That's relegation form.

There's no doubt that our form warranted a change at the top. As jaw said, 38 points in 31 games isn't good. Especially considering we broke our transfer record, twice, this summer.
There's been some serious issues at home this year with lackluster performances and a lot of playing safe (which clearly hasn't worked). Until the 70th minute last week, we played 4-5-1 at home against a Norwich team who were on the slide. We're also sitting far to far back; letting teams come onto us and inviting more pressure than we can handle. Teams like Southampton are showing that hard work and a high pressing game are ways to get at the bigger teams.
The thing that worries me is the two front runners are Martin Jol and Roberto Di Matteo. A choice between a recent failure and our manager from four years ago doesn't seem like a smart place to be.
To make all of the above worse.... Chris Brunt still gets given the captains armband every week. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It could be worse, one of the front runners might have been David Moyes.

Clarke is clearly insane...I mean, literally clinically
Anyone who spends £6m on Anichebe needs to be locked up

38 points in 31 games isn't relegation form. That'll get you nice and safe.

Just seen it elsewhere. The stat is 38 in 41 games. That is relegation form

Looking forward to the game this afternoon.
If we win we will be second and two points behind the leaders going into Christmas.
Time to bottle it big time methinks. Have a bad feeling about this one -
