Was nice to see Mata and Willian get a game. They must be really chuffed with how things are working out career-wise.

You all remember 14winters right?
Well.. his blog's up and running and is a veritable (yes veritable) stats and analysis gold mine. Or yawnathon.
But look!
Here's one for the spuds:

Oh God I remember him.
Don't think I'll be bothering with that blog to be honest. Though I am sure it is a thrilling read -

Maybe this is the reason Carra Laaa took the Sky job?

"Carragher said he didn't want to comment"

An enjoyable evening at The Emirates last night. The stewarding was atrocious. Long queues outside as too few stewards searched everyone slowly. We finally managed to get in two minutes after kick off. Many others didn't get in until 20 minutes had passed. Even then the searches were ineffective.
9,000 Chelsea supporters, even in an atmospheric black hole such as the Emirates, created constant noise.New songs, old songs, very old songs. A good laugh.
On the pitch, Mourinho showed how he can motivate and the players played their socks off. Not the best performance by a Chelsea side but Arsenal didn't put up much opposition. Essien and Mikel controlled.
Dowd was atrocious.
One Arsenal supporter sitting near the away end got very carried away just after the second goal. He exemplified the point that one should not wear distinctive clothing when sitting near the away end if one wants to lose it. Amusingly, he left, along with 50% of the home crowd, with ten minutes to go.
My elder daughter, for her sins, has a match day job at the George off Holloway Road serving Arsenal fans. She texted me to say that the pub was full five minutes before the final whistle.
Coming out of the ground was amusing as there were no Arsenal left. It was like coming out of a home game.
And then I walked home.

Having beaten Man City and Arsenal so far this week, it does appear that Chelsea have the strength and depth to achieve something this year. The team is coming together. Goals are being scored and defensively we are looking very strong.
We might not need to wait eight years for our next trophy.

You seem to forget our shittest player scored in our comfortable victory against the mighty 'Chels' a few weeks back

http://differentgame.wordpress.com/2013/10/30/hugo-lloris-is-bearings/This is interesting - from purely anecdotal evidence (watching last season and this) I would say that Lloris has been ace, and a really good signing.. but after reading that..

I haven't seen him play at all. Perhaps someone who watched him week in week out, where is Cornie?
Weak dig aside:
the disclaimer on Ben's site is:“Think about it. One absolutely cannot tell, by watching, the difference between a .300 hitter and a .275 hitter. The difference is one hit every two weeks.”

Early days...we should not forget that Liverpool were top of the League at tthe end of August.
These things change. What is coming across is that Mourinho has asserted his authority on the team and is getting them to work. It just goes to show how wrong "experts" such as Jamie Rednapp can be.

That article aside, based purely on my own anecdotal evidence I would say that he; is a reasonable shot stopper, with excellent positioning in dead ball situations, is off his line incredibly quickly when the ball is played in behind the centrebacks ( an essential quality in any keeper playing in a AVB team pressing high up the pitch) - and especially useful when you are playing a CB like Dawson who isn't overly mobile.
Though I do wonder if strikers are going to get smart to this at some point and start hitting early dinks over him. -

He also seems to communicate well with his back 4. I can't think of any Hart-esque cock-ups.
That's your cue to post loads of gifs of Spuds players running into him etc...

I think what last night shows is that Chelsea probably have the strongest squad in the Premier League and that Azpilicueta deserves to play more games for them.
Chelsea have done very well with injuries this season but you look at the squad and think they have man-for-man cover all over the pitch.
Saturday will be the real test of our mettle, rather than a mid-week reserve match.

I see some of the Arsenal/Chelsea rags are inventing new stories about Real and Suarez to try and destablize us.

There are two reason why Azpilicueta does not play every week.
- Ivanovich who is playing magnificently. He is one of the most enjoyable footballers. Quiet, unassuming and consistently effective.
- Stadium announcers have a problem with his name.
Great song last night.
We'll just call you Dave, We'll just call you Dave, Azpilicueta, we'll just call you Dave...

Could we have a financial breakdown/comparison showing money spent and trophies won?
Bueller? Chalfie?
31/60 and we lost against the hammers-not sure if happy, but not sad.
