If Bale isn't sold and the new signings fail to generate a CL place, we all piss ourselves inside out at their massive wage bill next season with no CL money to assist with their coffers as well as capitalising on the resulting fire sale...
It'll be like those Rapha sample sales all over; all elbows and sweat.

It's way beyond a joke now.
I've not seen the stadium as empty as it was on Tuesday. I know it was a mid-week dead rubber but still it is starting to become apparent to everyone that this disquiet and displeasure is not that of a few but of the majority.
I think Flamini is a good signing - I think it could have been done way earlier but he had a good season last year and provides experience.
The video I posted yesterday talks about Gazidis' bonus, and how he was bonussed to the tune of 700k last year. This cant be a performance related bonus - as we had one of our worst seasons in recent history. So as the guy on arsenal tv says, it must be a financial based bonus.
Why do we have a guy who profits from the financial stringency of our club, conducting the transfer negotiations?

Still a sell out though. Season ticket holders who didn't fancy it.

Yeah and what does that say?
5,000-10,000 people who have paid at least 1,000gbp for their tickets. Would rather stay at home and watch Eastenders.

Its a bad sign.
To be fair, many of the people who sit around me travel down from Yorkshire and Wales for home games. They are deciding that they'd rather avoid a 300+mi round trip for a mid week game too. Its not as if most gooners live in Islington any more...
Not an excuse, but might contribute.

James Olley better be having a fucking laugh, if he thinks we're in for fucking Quagliarella.
I honestly can't understand why we aren't in for Eriksen at the price mooted...

Rosicky struggling.
Serious question, when hasn't he struggled.
Also, will Arsene be making a cheeky bid for Nando and Moses?

The fact that football seasons have started everywhere and trades can still be done reads like a bad joke.
I think this is something we can all agree on. It's farcical and needs to change.

Wasn't me, but was tempted by his sikhs and muslims comment last month.
Do go on...love to hear why

I was interested in why Sikhs and Muslims aren't welcome as football supporters.

I'm interested to hear how you jumped to that conclusion? Have you thought of trying out for Rio 2016?

Are you sure that was Pisti?

Don't be a prickwank...the only reason there's a queue for ST's @ Anfield is cos it's full of Norwegians, Irish, Cockneys, Sikhs and Muslims. Fuck me, you have to go through passport control as you get off at Lime St
80s glory hunting plastic supported clubs
That's how I took this...

I'm entirely open to explanations as to how this is a reflection of the multicultural society in which we live, rather than a tired old re-hash of "go back to your own country".
Or should we just revise TEH RULEZ to read:
Your local club, or
Your dad's cluband...
You must be an indigenous, 26th generation, white, working-class Englander.

One of the true joys of 21st century top level football is that it is global. Supporters from around the world follow footballers from around the world.
I like this aspect of the modern game. I think it is hugely positive for a large number of reasons.
Anyone who disagrees can, quite frankly, do one.
Thank you.

Champions League and Europa Cup draw day today.
Or as Liverpool fans call it - Thursday.

I agree, Clive. Anyone who uses lazy stereotypes based on race or nationality should do one.

"Remember, you are Chelsea and Chelsea is style."
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Beggars belief.
