"I heard Glenn Hoddle found God. That must've been one hell of a pass."

Ouch. Looked painful...

Commence Operation Shit the Bed
No soiled sheets tonight.

No soiled sheets tonight.
I bet Jose will be pissing himself about his own result.

Good to see refs bottling the big decisions against the big clubs already. I await Clive's defence of that one with interest*.
- this might be a lie.

Fucking robbed.
Outrageous.

Fuck me Fener looked miserable tonight.
Professional job. Alf looks to have carried on where he left off last season.
Should make next Tuesday a more comfortable night

It's a funny old game...
sticks tongue out at Ru -

Fucking robbed.
Outrageous.
With you on that. But taking pun by poor ref decisions is written in the stars for you lot.

Aston Villa - took it in the plums tonight.
2 howlers.
Ivanovic won't get any action taken against him because he was booked.
And John Terry doing a bit of Karate at the end, obviously wasn't handball. -
• #86591
Oh and Ivanovic was off side

But then the ref did his best to give them the game at the weekend.
Swings and roundabouts

^ This. 2 games in and the ref ying and yang is already juxtaposed.
-

So arsenals demise has been sorely exaggerated then..
Only good thing to come from the Chelsea match is that benteke scored for my fantasy team..
That is all..
-
• #86595
Sounds like the ref wet the bed in the Chelsea game
Good result for Arsenal. Fuck knows how thy do it -

Even if you dispute the second pen against arsenal, the first was clear-cut and we scored a third, so that result was nothing to do with the ref. This was clearly feeble home 'big' team refereeing. A travesty.

Well Anthony Taylor has been dropped for his performance at the weekend.
And yes I dispute the penalty, and with Koscielny's first yellow. And also very much his second. So then it's 1-1 with both teams at eleven.
The result had everything to do with the ref. (im not saying we played well, would've won but the ref played as much a role in Saturday's match as tonights.)
You can watch the 8 minute video of all the howlers Taylor made over on 101GG but whatevs.

On the plus side we are continuing and building on the finish to last season. Gaby looks back to his best and Benteke is nothing short of awesome. We should be right up there in the mix this season.

I haven't seen Agbonlahor look this good for years.
He was excellent at the weekend and again tonight. Also Delph and Westwood are a difficult pairing.

I thought Villa looked great tonight, Ru... Impressive...

Is the only thing he did worth remembering.
Based on his opinions of people with disabilities, I wonder what he had to say about Chris Waddle's left hand in that video?
