  • "Oh god. I've got to play with Steven G again, one of the greatest players of the previous generation. "

Sorry dicki. It's not 2005 anymore.

  • It's not?

  • I wondered why I wasn't in a lab in Nashville. I thought I was having a moonshine induced episode, dreaming of a better life in a world class city with free health care for all.

  • Sorry dicki. It's not 2005 anymore.

    he was even better then
now he's only the best passer in the permiershit

  • It's not?

you must have slept through your alarm

  • .

  • Is Tom Huddlestone really going to somewhere in South Wales?

  • he was drawn by the praise jon jo shelvey is heaping on the place currently

  • Plastic Kopites baiting Gooners??

    *makes noose

    Kicks the chair.

  • Liverpool and Suarez deserve each other. Despicable player, despicable club.

Please tell me you're not really this dull?

  • Bum rape...

    "Sadly Luis is too old"

...is the kind of thing that Maureen came out with in his first stint against Arsene. And you wanna talk despicable??

  • Anyway, time for some real history to visit Anfield. Liverpool host Notts County in the League Cup.

Looks like their will be a critical mass of scumbags at the city ground when Millwall visit.

We got Brentford, anyone ever heard of them? Are they any good? What division do they play in?

Away match at QPR for Pisti

  • and Walcott

    You'd really take Theo?
    Not for me Beaky

    Getting restless?

I'm just bored of all this.

I am surprised little has been made of the second half of lfc's season. The football was positive. Top goal scorers and second in form. I think we won more without

than with him. Given what little money has been spent Luis has a point (5M). Dear ol' Mr Henry has been the definition of an absent owner; watching his first game (Valllrenga) yeasterday since last July. He must be lovin all his distraction. If the spend doesn't rise much before the window shuts, then I predict FSGies being burnt next.

  • Please tell me you're not really this dull?

    I am afraid he is.

He should be ground down and made into sleeping tablets.

    Yet another with LFCOCD.

  • Have we met?

  • You'd really take Theo?
    Not for me Beaky

good player, fits the mould of how BR wants to play and can score a goal. Nothing wrong with him except maybe a dodgy health record

  • And that tache...

  • good player, fits the mould of how BR wants to play and can score a goal. Nothing wrong with him except maybe a dodgy health record

I can see that I guess.
What are your thoughts on BR and how things finished last term? TBH I was petrified about this 'philosophy' which it looked like he'd stick to rigidly at the cost of points and the borefest that was 300 passes between the back four. But it seemed once he'd realised a lot of the players were way off technically what he wanted, he appeared to adapt what he wanted with what he had.

As mentioned earlier (Aroogha?), I think FSG are wetting the bed now they've seen how much football (outside of the States) resembles the wild west.

  • i wonder if suarez was one of the names in the envelope ?

  • I think my comment generally has been that US owners completely fail to grasp the differences between the way the professional game is run between the US and Europe. I've mentioned it more than once over the last 1700 pages or so. That was certainly a massive issue with Hicks and Gillette. They've saw what the Glazers did (more market luck than anything else) and assume that it's equally achievable. The Glazers paved the way for corporate governed American ownership approach the way that Abramhovic paved the way for the cash rich foreign sugar daddy model. Which is pretty much the debate going on at the board level at Arsenal.
