They aren't employees, they love the club, the fans and the heritage.
I was reading about how clubs shouldn't have sentimentality when improving their squad etc... I guess loyalty is the flip side of that coin

The Telegraph is even more damning.
*football thread in non Guardian linking shocker
Sums him up perfectly.

Look forward to him fucking off so we can join in the hatred of him. Leave it to andyp and the other Gooners to defend him

There really can't be any self respecting Liverpool fans out there, who still want this twunt to play for their team. I genuinely hope that Arsenal pay £40m+ for him, it would make my year.

Maybe five years ago... Isn't he about 65 now?

32, which in real terms means he's fitter than Rooney.

Kalou to West Brom. What happened there?

Got bored in Lille and wanted to play for a real manager.

The reality is that Moyes’ magic at Merseyside may be coming to an end.
Unfortunately, seasons 7 through 9 have seen Everton slide steadily backward despite significant investment the first two years. The team now faces a cash crunch with an established manager known for Europa League, but not Champions League, qualification. It’s a tough sell for a club desiring to attract top talent.
Hmm.

Bit of a fall from grace though. No offence to West Brom.

Would E'too take the pay cut to play at Chelsea? Wasn't he the highest paid footballer in the world 300k+ a week?
If Chelsea do get him Rooney'd have to suck it up and sit in the north like a good little boy.
-

He's the highest paid footballer in the world at the moment and yes he will have to take a massive pay cut to join Chelsea. It will also give him the chance for a final 2 or 3 year contract and the opportunity of winning some meaningful trophies. I wonder if Barcelona would be interested in him as they still do not have a plan B up front.

He'll go to PSG or somewhere similar.

he's just given an interview for Marca saying he's not desperate to leave and he'll defend the badge to the end...

As a desperate for signings Arsenal fan I'm actually quite enjoying the ridiculousness of this Suarez saga. What a twat. Can't blame him for wanting to leave though.

As much as I don't want Suarez at Arsenal, I do hope they sign him just to shove all this bollocks coming out of Liverpool and their media chums up their fucking arse.
ahaha...yeah...just like a beaten spouse; Wenger/Arsenal can change him, huh?
I'd gladly sell sell him to you...but not for a pannyless then £55M
