@andyp, understand what you mean, a couple of seasons ago we had a spanking pre season, and a shit start to the season. Kind of think pre season should be a time for experimentation, seeing what the new arrivals are all about and bedding them in as well as giving the kids who you think are good enough a run out to see them with the first team..
