we're also supposed to be in for Steaua Bucharest centre-back Vlad Chiriches as mentioned in the article above, Jawsome, Tenderoni, Proletariat, any info about him and his usefulness.
Seems like Caulker wanted away, wanted first team football, and wasn't comfortable or happy being fourth in line to the defensive throne.. There was also suspicions that he wasn't quick enough, or comfortable enough on the ball to play AVB's high defensive line
If we get a more experienced center half for similar money, that is able to play in the style the manager wants then all good, am still a bit disappointed that youth team product has been sold, but then again as I've been arguing you have a youth system so that if they don't come good for you, they can be sold on, to provide finances for other youth team products to hopefully make the grade.. -

I think you'll struggle to find anyone on here that follows the Romanian league corn dog.

and then there were 4 (5 if you include pisti and his favourite mug, 3 if you account for the dwarfism affecting Roboto and Chalfie)
But yes, I've been watching the coventry situation, the whole proposes ground share in another town when they have a stadium in Cov seemed strange and now this. Hopefully will come out as another fan lead co-op and become a solid stable League 1 club.

I'm sure the Sky Blue Army would love a day out at Sixfields. It has everything you need:
A domestic and trade waste recycling centre run by Northamptonshire County Council occupies part of the site. Also in the area is a Cineworld Cinema with nine screens, McDonalds, KFC, TGI Friday's, Frankie & Benny's, Red Hot Bar and Buffet, Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing centre, Bella Italia, Pizza Hut, a Tenpin bowling centre, a Sainsbury's supermarket, Marks & Spencer Simply Food Store, Boots Pharmacy, Hungry Horse pub-diner, a Starbucks and an Old Orleans American/ Mexican themed restaurant.
What more could you want on a daytrip?

You don't even need to pay to get in to see the game (if you don't mind just watching the action at one end of the pitch).

Dyer's career is perhaps the most preposterously overblown in English football history. Those numbers again: in 17 years he played just over 300 matches, scoring 23 Premier League goals, including none at all between 2007 and 2013. In this time he earned between £20m and £30m in wages. He never won a trophy or any individual award of note. He leaves effectively no mark at all, his most memorable act on a football pitch being punched by a team-mate in 2005. His career is, in outline, a modern sporting absurdity.

You honestly think that Kieron Dyer could have been close to world class?
Lay off the drugs/drink/whatever because it's not doing you any good.

Many years ago I sat next to Dyer on a night flight from the US. I knew the young man next to me was a footballer but I was struggling to work out who. When I arrived in London I picked up a paper to read while being driven into town and there, on the sports page, was a large photo of Dyer.

I dislike Dyer and think he wasted his career. But...
To be fair to him he was dreadfully unlucky with injuries. I think he could have been an amazing, possibly close to world class, player had he been luckier and worked harder. Even past his best and fucked from injuries he came back looking exceptionally quick and sharp immediately which takes some doing (problem was he got injured again within 20 minutes).

Fuck me mate, are you pissed?
