Don't you want to win something? I mean three FA cups and a Cup Winners Cup back in the day isn't anything to brag about is it.

How exactly does a meaningless competition have highlights? FFS, the final is less important that your average PL game, let alone the first round.
Every game in every competition at every level has highlights, otherwise sunday league post match banter would not exist. If your narrow minded, nay closed minded view of football fails to extend beyond the PL then you miss out on a great deal of enjoyment in this life.
Judging by your posts you do not get a lot of enjoyment and I doubt the cause of this is the hammers and more to do with what you see in the mirror each morning. This is making the wild assumption that you can actually face yourself in the mirror and personally from what I know of you from your postings I could understand it if you could not.
There is a bridge in North London with a spectacular view of the city and the Emirates stadium, please one day in the not too distant future would you do us all the favour of visiting this bridge. When you do, please please please, jump.

Feel free to respond, you are the second person to be added to my ignore list. Goodbye.

Having watched Orient v Bury last season I can tell you for sure that not every game in every competition at every level has highlights.

I will interupt my shagathon just to point out that the mexican goalie pulled his arm out of the way so pirlo could score on his 100th appearance. pathetic

I will respond thank you.
Football should extend beyond the PL, and it does massively when West Ham United Football Club are outside of the PL (or playing in another competition), or if you are the sort of moron who supports a team other than West Ham United Football Club and that team is outside of the PL.
But most of the time, for teams in the PL, the PL is all that matters, unless they are also in the CL and can afford to have a squad worth at least 3 or 4 times the value of all the other squads and can compete properly in two competitions.
Please do not blame me for the fact that when West Ham play Man U in the FA Cup neither manager thinks it appropriate to put out their best 11. Please do not try to tell me that the FA cup has not been massively devalued. Please do not try to tell me that the League Cup has not been massively more devalued.
I get lots of pleasure from all sorts of things, but I must admit that looking at my naked body in a full length mirror every morning and remembering that I am not able to go fuck myself does depress me.
What I don't get pleasure from is the way football has become a money dominated sport in which the PL and CL are the only two genuinely important competitions - this ain't my fault either.
I think this guy's hilarious.

You are the kind of supporter that makes me proud to say I have no interest in the premier league. I watched non league football for 25 years and had some amazing experiences. Now I watch a non league team in the football league. How much longer we'll be there, I don't know.
You'll find lower league football far more entertaining, raw talent (some of which ends up in the Premier League/Championship) players take risks, the games are more free flowing and you all have a drink with the opposition after. Also clubs where the Manager, Chairman and Managing Director are easily accessible to all supporters. My kind of football.
And let's not forget that most Premier League clubs are only there because they are being bankrolled.... Look at what happened to the Lutons, Oxfords and Portsmouths, someone pull the rug out from under your feet, you'll be next.

I think Jeez is (surprisingly) talking sense.
well the championship is a step down from premiership so i think it is a decent move for wigan in the circumstances
as for AVB talk. to my mind he has got no right to be thinking of going anywhere at the moment.
