I've always seen Moyes as Marty Feldman's better looking brother.

  • INsults and nickname about managers need to contain the words, Face or Nose.

    It's in Teh rulez.

    FACT!

  • I presume the plans for extending the Man U sickroom have been in place for a couple of months now.

  • The sick room has always been large but only ever gets used when players are asked to play for their country.

  • Villa's Petrov has announced his retirement.

    Sad day.

    Stay well Stan.

  • Good news if you have BT broadband; you'll get their sports channels for free when they launch.

Bad news; Tim Lovejoy is getting a Saturday morning football show.

  • sorry Pisti, Martinez hasn't bought through any youth in Wigan apart from Mcmananmamanan, but you'll play more attacking football with him, than without, but as Aroogah says, he may not want to go to you anyway, he's an intelligent manager, and shuffling the deckchairs on the listing financial ship that is Everton, and if you do drop out of the prem, I'm not sure you'll make it back..

Personally you'd be better off crossing your fingers and hoping the board at everton get in some young up and coming manager, or you could be stuck with one of the NAMES being inserted into the betting O'Neill, Hughes, et al

  • Neil Lennon.

  • makes "better off with John Lennon" "joke"

  • Everton could do worse than prise Phillip "Phil" Brown away from Southend if Moyes ends up at Utd.

  • Everton can confirm that David Moyes will leave the Club at the end of the season.

The Manager met Chairman Bill Kenwright early yesterday evening (Wednesday 8th May) and confirmed his desire to join Manchester United. The Chairman, on behalf of the Club, would like to place on record his thanks to David for the massive contribution he has made to Everton since his arrival in March 2002. He has been an outstanding Manager.
During his tenure at Goodison Park, David has taken charge of the team on over 500 occasions including four European campaigns.
His final two games as Everton Manager will be the remaining Premier League matches against West Ham United and Chelsea. Everton officials will start the search for a replacement manager immediately. The following candidates have been shortlisted for the vacancy: Dean Saunders, Sam Allardyce, Roberto Martinez, Martin O'Neill, Steve McClaren and David O'Leary.

    Ouch!

  • Everton's website has crashed btw - the only way for them to generate website traffic is by letting their manager leave for Man Utd.

  • I KNEW Fat Sam would be on that list!!!!
    *prays for Fat Sam *
