  • Liverpool to show appreciation to Everton for their long-standing support of the Hillsborough justice campaign at Sunday's Merseyside derby.

Fans in the Kop will hold up 12,390 cards to spell out the word 'Thanks'.

"I want to take the opportunity to thank (chairman) Bill Kenwright and Everton fans for their continued support for the families and victims of the Hillsborough disaster," Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre told liverpoolfc.com.

come here pisti & give me a hug

  • bromance

  • where is he by the way
did he get the chop again for being chopsy ?

  • Stuart Hall admits to noncing

What is it with these people?

  • Guardian's football managers pass the parcel.

Supposedly if AVB heads off to Real Madrid (why?) we'd be in for Klopp, Heynckes and possibly Moyes.. Who will be your next manager?

  • Corny - why would Klopp go to Spurs?

    He's not bekloppt...

    #getscoat

  • Jaw, that's probably a joke only a german speaker could love.

I don't know why he'd come to spurs either, in a straight choice between us and the Arse, which the Guardian is making it out to be. He'd go to the team with a new stadium and deeper pockets.

Also Heynckes isn't coming to Spurs, lets put that one straight as well...

As far as I'm concerned AVB's going nowhere, he's rehabilitating his reputation quite nicely at White Hart Lane, and given a decent striker or two and possibly a Bale replacement we're there or thereabouts to be top four/five next season as well. Why jump into the cauldron that is Real Madrid and a carbon copy of his Chelsea experience, except in an environment where there is less chance of his words/actions being misinterpreted by the players..

  • He'd go to Real Madrid for the money (not sure if that's his sole motivation) and it's still the biggest club in the world (according to Deloitte). They don't come calling every year.

Isn't Jupp retiring anyway? At least that's what Bayern want us to believe.

  • He's only 35, if you're good enough the big clubs come calling time and time again. If he wins with us they'll be back.

  • In which case he may as well leave now.

  • spurs = stepping stone

  • If his motivation is money: Real Madrid > Spurs
If his motivation is fame: Real Madrid > Spurs
If his motivation is winning things: Real Madrid > Spurs
If his motivation is sunshine: Real Madrid > Spurs
If his motivation is working with the best players: Real Madrid > Spurs
If his motivation is not to sell his best players: Real Madrid > Spurs
If his motivation is continuity: Real Madrid < Spurs

  • dicki - According to that rhetoric LFC would be the equivalent of the Titanic...

There's two ifs in that post, big ones at it.

  • Massive cognitive dissonance going on at the moment.
I really like Rafa and would love to see him win the UEFA cup again but with the cuntiest team in England? Oh God it's so difficult. The only grace is knowing that Chelsea fans hate hime.

  • I said it once and ill say it again.

David Luiz is too good at football

  • I can't believe the ridiculous off-season, who-are-spurs-in-for bollocks is starting already. All summer long we'll get:
spurs are in for messi - no they're not.
Spurs are in for Muller - no they're not.
Guardiola for next spurs manager - no he's not.

    Etc, etc ad nauseam.

  • Suck it cuntoxes. 4 managers in 2 seasons and European finals. Lets hope Roman keeps doing this trick every year as it seems to work just fine.

Providing Rafa wins the Europa League and achieves qualification for the CL my disliking towards him might mellow a bit, although I doubt it that he'll lose any sleep over it.

  • Fickle Chelsea plastics

  • Yeah, here it starts, win a Uefa cup here, finish second in the league there, suddenly they'll be all "IRWT"

you do realise you'll run out of managers eventually
soon all there will be left is mark hughes / warnock and dario grady

  • then who'll be laughing

i did try and tell you rafa was decent but would you listen ... would you fuck
and now look at him .. i bet he's sick to the stomach taking you lot to a final .... he must be so conflicted inside
i bet he's all like, chelsea scum but must do well for my future job prospects ... chelsea scum but have to do well so i get the real madrid job next

    poor guy
