LFC seems to have real issues when playing against a big physical striker... bad day at the office. Wednesday is a very important game, I'm surprised we played both our strikers from the start to be honest
That is why you bought Carroll off us. He scored the last in a 3-1 drumming and you bought him 20 days later. Too much fear, too much money.

If he was injured you could have used that promising young keeper that Rafa signed about six years ago. You know the one that was apparently the best goalie in the world for his age. Where is he now?
he shouldn't have let the suarez goal in
poor keepingwe've got pepe

Seeing a lot of praise for the signing of Coutinho for Liverpool - I wonder if their attacking options are becoming a bit samey. Sturridge, Suarez, Borni, Suso, Coutinho and Sterling are all quite alike in stature and share many characteristics in playing styles.
I know for us - Giroud has introduced a new option at Arsenal and I think he is starting to show his talent, I think a player similar to this could work for Liverpool.
I didnt realise Kackanicilic used to play for Liverpool before the swapped him for Konchesky - I've been really impressed with him this season. -

Leroy Fer to Everton - that could be a great bit of business. 2 years ago I'd have ear marked him for a major european side, he's struggled a little in recent times I think but he has all the attributes to be a major success....possibly in preparation for Fellaini leaving?

Balotelli to AC Milan and Holtby transfer accepted for 1.5m (I'd say expensive but worth it at this point for the spuds)
Tottenham surely going to have to be in for a striker...Drogba?

sterling has done fuck all after signing his big money contract
anyone see the headline in the metro this morning
wabara - cadabraborini doesn't seem to be the kind of get ball . beat 2-3 men have a shot on goal type
coutihno seems to be a bit more of a playmaker rather than forward but he can score too -

Drogba to spurs...wash your mouth out, think he's off to italy

thought he's already signed for Galatasary.. Chelsea came in with a cheeky bid as well apparently but got told to do one
-
• #75088
Aye, Galatasary it is. 18 month contract apparently.
Lambert saying that there is no money in Villa's coffers. Its going to be a tough 5 months for them in the midland mire.

Also, I really hope Newcastle don't bottle staying up. We have spent a lot of money this window, more money than we could realistically afford or justify with our current league position. On paper we are too good to go down, but I have no trust in the club at all. It would be such an 'us' thing to do...

• #75092
Great news about Holtby. Definitely still need some striking options, though I don't think it'll be this window. I'm seriously struggling figuring out where the goals will come from in the mean time.

Yep.
If everyone just talked about their own teams then it would not be all about Liverpool. The sad fact is everyone is obsessed with us. Let us talk about Liverpool as we let others talk about Derby, Forest, Leicester et al without butting in all the time! -
• #75094
Happy to talk about Derby v Forest
We keep beating them*, sometimes we don't need all 11 men.
*except last time when we let them have some dignity by allowing them a draw.

Before the end of the season?
another bloody page full of LFC piss and wind.
Mediocre team, mediocre manager. mid-table position sums it up.
Lets talk when they win the league.
