Arsenal are all over the shop this season... I think we're in with a shout certainly. I'd have preferred more players rested for the game as I can see Sturridge and Suarez running on empty near the end of the game
i thought sturridge had some good little passages of play
he's more skillful than i thought -
• #75053
yeah he did ok, scuffed one good opportunity but his passing was a little short, that could be down to the pitch or something else.

So the problem with Liverpool yesterday wasn't the fact that they conceded 3 goals to a team in League One who were suffering their worst form of the season?
It's the FA cup. Anything can happen. Our problem yesterday, aside from the ref, Coates and Brad Jones was failing to take them seriously
-
• #75055
I fail to take you seriously all the time, regardless of the magic of The Cup.
The FA Cup has gone to the dogs since 1946. Fact.
-
• #75056
Seriously. Budweiser FA Cup?
Who the fuck gets fucking huge sponsorship deals from Americans?
-
• #75057
1946? What happened then?
-
• #75058
Some tin-pot northern mugs did well prior to decline into oblivion.
-
• #75059
thats the first time in a while we've been knocked out by lower division opposisition
-
• #75060
Yeah, but we don't go on about history every time we talk about our team. We've picked up our trophy this season (Brian Clough trophy) and haven't lost to our only local rivals for a couple of years now.

Jesus. I thought you supported Wolves?
I guess all these teams blend into one another once you get past Watford -

Jesus. I thought you supported Wolves?
I guess all these teams blend into one another once you get past Watford but before you get to tramereftfy
-
• #75063
Yeah, I can see the confusion if you've never been north of Watford in your life then it's a lot to take in.
-
• #75064
It doesn't take much to confuse me. I spend so long looking back at the past that the present and future all blur into one

Jones apparently had a shoulder injury and Coates is rusty as he barely plays which is why he's going out on loan
-
• #75066
Yawn.
-
• #75067
jones couldn't have caught the ball yesterday if he was at silly mid on and the ball had dollied up off the pads from a slow googly / finger spinner
he was spilling the ball like the exxon valdeez spilled crude ... i.e. a lot -
• #75068
If he was injured you could have used that promising young keeper that Rafa signed about six years ago. You know the one that was apparently the best goalie in the world for his age. Where is he now?
-
• #75069
Oh.
-
• #75070
ldham.
-
• #75071
Indeed he is.
It's difficult with goalies though. Lot's of promising young keepers end up not living up to their potential or on the scrap heap. Look at Chris Kirkland, he was hailed as the future of England at the time but seemed to have bones made of straw. Unable to get out of bed in the morning without breaking something. I think we shipped him off to some rubbish team -
• #75072
Er, you are a rubbish team...
-
• #75073
And God Forbid Scott Carson. Whatever happened to that complete Donkey? Again, I think we shipped him of to some Rubbish Northern team
-
• #75074
Er, you are a rubbish team...
"You must spread some rep etc etc"
-
• #75075
Yawn.
never let facts get in the way of a good LFC circle jerk
hey at least we can feel good in ourselves that we didn't cause yet another promising young manager to lose his job
