It's a sad state of affairs when the only way for Rafa Benitz to stay relevant is by having a Twitter account.
How often has he moaned about visiting teams defending too deep when they play at Stamford Bridge? You'd think as a coach you'd change tactics to do something about it, instead he fucking gives the same answers every post match interview.
I how I wish it was May already. I'm sick of this cold, my cold, the shite manager we have and the crap results he's delivering.
Roll on the new season........

"shit on a stick"
Chelsea = Inter.

I'd like to disagree with that. The Chelsea squad is very young but the way things are panning out it will be even younger next season with very little experience. Personally I'd keep Cole and Lampard on rolling one year deals and give them automatic contract extensions providing they make more than 25 starts a season.
The squad at Inter when Jose left was a bit of a last roll of the dice kind of thing (like Chelsea) but Roman has started investing in young talented players quite some time ago, the youth set up is not as bad as is being made out either, what people have to understand is that the step up to the first team is just a lot bigger than it is at some other clubs.

Fair play to BFS. It's time the FA clamped down on Old Trafford Rules.
Why would they when ManU own the FA through Gill?

I bet you didn't complain when Ken Bates was in the same position?

Do the Chelsea fans boo their sugar daddy?

Yep. United control the FA. A bit like in Star Wars where the Sith Lord controlled the Senate.
But people are too scared to speak up, except Rafa and look what happened to him! -

I bet you didn't complain when Ken Bates was in the same position?
Ken Bates was critisised consistently and vigourously from the day he took over Chelsea. There were very organised groups who collected information on him and his business activities and who campaigned reletlessly against him. Occasionally he did things that were applauded by the supporters and, probably more often, he did things that angered people. Overall, supporters were divided. Most disliked Bates and his ways but I do know some who got on with him. He can be quite personable on a one on one basis albeit in a particularly grufff and idiosyncratic way.
Abramovich brought success to Chelsea. I remember the season before he bought the club realising that we were not in a position to challenge the financial clout of ManU or Arsenal and that we were destined to fight only for third place. He has restored hope and brought success. Three league titles, three FA Cups, a couple of League cup and the Champions League. Would I or any Chelsea supporter have preferred him to take his largess to Tottenham? No. Would the supporters of any club turn that type of backing down? No. Did Man City supporters object when they were given buckets of money? No. Did QPR supporters object when they were bought? No.
There are some people who express the view that Abramovich's time is up. They are a minority. The press would like Chelsea supporters to turn on Abramovich as this might drive him away. It would probably deprive us of the hope that he has brought. It will not happen.
Benitez was booed by a minority of people at tthe game last night and then only after the final whistle. I suspect that many who booed were the irregulars who have only recently come to football. Last night's game was scheduled less than a fortnight ago. Many season ticket holders were unable to attend.
Benitez either does not understand or care about the views of supporters. He does not appreciate that Chelsea has to beat sides like QPR Fulham and West Ham. We don't need to beat Aston Villa 8-0. That score waas nice but not essential. Beating other London sides is essential, particularly those at the lower end of the table.

Perhaps the players should pull their fucking tripe out and show how much bettert they are.

Does sacking Matteo and appointing Benitez show that your sugar daddy understands and cares about your views?

I understand as supporters you don't like Benitez. I completely understand that, and why.
And while you say there is no negativity during games, there is afterwards, and in general online.
I'm sure the players must be aware of that, and it's only natural that's going to affect their performance.
In addition, his temporary situation can't help either

Good job I'm not paying for this, it'd cost me a fortune at your hourly rate.
You missed my point completely, when Bates was cosied up with the FA, I don't recall Chelsea fans complaining in the way you are now complaining about United. Nor did Arsenal fans complain when David Dein was doing something similar.

So you're admitting that the FA are in the pocket of Gill and therefore United?

Does sacking Matteo and appointing Benitez show that your sugar daddy understands and cares about your views?
DiMatteo was an accidental manager. He was never intended to be anything more than interim. He would have gone at the end of last season but for two reasons. There was no immediate candiate and he had just won the Champions League. He went. No one was that surprised. The manner of his departure was disappointing but everyone knew he would go sooner or later.
He went because Torres has beome something of an albatross.
There were concerrns before Torres came that he was past his best but he received amazing support from Chelsea supporters for two years even though he was underperforming. From the start of this season it was apparent that the club were determined to make the Torres investment work. He had to be picked. When DiMatteo didn't pick him and we lost, DiMattteo was out.
Benitez was part of the plan to get Torres working. It is not clear if this is Abramovich or some of his advisors idea. Sadly, not even Benitez can make Torres whole again.
What happens now will be interesting. The views of the supporters aree born out of the frustration of having good players who are not palying well together and not getting the results that they should. Abramovich has the same frustration. Whether he can change manager now is another question. Who would come in? Who is available? More likely he will get someone in at the end of the season as planned. The positive thing is that whoever comes will be in a position to insust on a considerable degree of independence.
The frustration voiced by supporters has been at the strange decisions that Benitez appars to make during games. His substitutions are extraordinary and don't work. His tactics and style of play naive. His motivational skills are lacking. He is a twerp.

Personally Clive's got to grow a pair. When George Graham was unveiled as Spurs boss, there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. He did a serviceable job, we won the league cup a couple of months after he arrived, but we never finished higher than tenth in the league and he used to manage the Arse, he was never going to be loved. But the clubs bigger than any manager. So you suffer it, support the team, despise the manager and hope they do enough to get the chop and you get someone better in.
Chelsea are now in manager freefall, with no one wanting to take the job because ownership have been a bit too quick to wield the axe, you've got to say this for Benitez he actually wanted the job, and they keep doing what teams who are unstable do, go from hard taskmaster to player friendly coach, to hard taskmaster to player friendly coach, never able to settle on one.
Chelsea had a young up and coming manager, with tactical nous who wanted to play attacking football, but they got rid and are now looking for a young up and coming manager with tactical nous who wants to play attacking football..
C'est la vie

Unless Ambramovich appoints another yes man. Which like any dictator he is prone to doing.
I think the only managers out there who could insist any degree independence would be Mourinho or Klopp.
Also would Abramovic go back to Mourinho? Re-hiring is admitting he made a monumental mistake.

Question is with Guardiola heading to Bayern, would Klopp want to leave Dortmund with the catalan challenger on his doorstep, imagine the boost to reputation that sticking the boot into "the best manager in football" would do..

But he could be testing himself in "the best league in the world"...
