Yup, it's why there are returns, as we normally sell our away allocation.

Pretty much the only London away game I could get a ticket for (apart from Fulham's neutral section) and I didn't have to think long at that price in January.
City won't be worth paying to watch for the next few weeks thanks to a fucking pointless African Nations Cup and Aguero's injury.

£40 for Reading away. Can't be much fun shelling that out every other fortnight to watch your team do poorly in a frightful plastic stadium in the middle of an industrial estate.
Does it cost £80 at the Emirates if you stay for the full game?

@chadders, African Cup of Nationa isn't pointless, this years is to put it onto an odd year schedule so you don't get what you had last year of ACN, Euro's or World Cup in the same season. The solution to have two ACN's back to back to change the schedule wasn't the greatest but the other option was to wait till 2015, which I'm thinking none of the African associations wanted.
Also if you buy African players know that they will be away for the ACN, they want to play for their country and win their big cup as much as any other European or south American player. I quite like the fact that it sits where it does, it forces European leagues and clubs to work round Africa's needs for once every two years, rather than vice versa..

This, don't buy African players then complain about a situation you knew would happen, when you bought them.

good, it's a loan. He's not made the grade (and it's not that high a standard tbf) without having someone on a contract for another 3 years.. Lesson learned?
Here comes Sturridge for 12mil ho hum
@Mikec he was ok sporadically, but looked lost and off the pace far too often. With Lucas back and Hendo starting to put a shift in he's surplus to requirements

Demba Ba saying he is detached from Money.
Are you kidding me? His contracts have been orchestrated around him earning money from transfers.
When his knee goes pop and some team have a player on 80k, with a long term contract, it will be pwoppa lolz.is there any chance of Spurs getting the cheque book out and signing Damiao, or is AVB just playing games/smoke screens - certainly from what I've seen of Spurs this season, he would go a long way to completing the team.
No way?!
It was £39 @ West Ham and I thought that was taking the piss
I can see now why so many plastics sit and watch Arsenal in my local rather than walking the 20mins to the ground
