**How did you get to this conclusion or are you just reciting shite you heard from..... **
You typed this keeping a straight face??

Also whom are the people you're saying have been sucked in? Go through my posts regarding his supposed reinventing of the wheel.
And?
I like the way he organises the team, and the way he's giving youth a chance.
I've said it before, I don't care what position we finish this year, or next year. I don't really care on a game by game basis if we lose or win, as long as we are playing well (obviously it's nice when we do win).
What I care about is that we are in a position to return to the top in 5,10,15 years, through good youth players coming through, positive, creative, attacking play, and off the pitch a self-sustaining financial setup, such as a new stadium, better sponsorship, marketing, etc.
And I think Rodgers is the sort of manager who can bring that sort of long term success. I certainly don't see the point of changing again, for at least another 2 years. We've got very little to lose, but a lot to gain.
So your saying he shouldn't have to develop his style?Stand still in football and you're going backwards. You've not addressed any of my concerns. What game by game improvements have you witnessed? I can't too be bothered about positions either but I do have issues with the sometimes over stylized build up and the lack of pace/drive. The jury is very much out on Mr (£16M) Allen who is at times weaker in the tackle than John Bobbit.
To say Rogers can bring anything is strictly based on hope as there's no historical track record of success.*rubs hare foot
If you mean that wealthy teams tend to do better than poorer teams, yes, but they still have to win. Barcelona is far wealthier than Chelsea but we knocked them out over two legs.
What about Downing?
Hasn't he fucked off with Dorothy to Oz for some heart?

Barcelona have racked up extreme debt. They've been able to do this for a number of reasons. In terms of revenue, they've got a lopsided TV deal so get $$£$£$£$£$, they've got a better global reach than Chelsea (won the champions league more times, more shirt sales. Probably), and in no particular order they've got the support of:
the Jews, FIFA, UEFA, Platini, Blatter, Bilderberg group (Kissinger often talks to Blair about the importance of the typical "4" in Barca's structure, even though Xavi plays as a "6", and the development of the false 9 and a back three). -

Chelsea started the season with the opportunity to win 7 trophies, before Christmas and they're only in the running for 3 of which 1 they were not even participating in at the start of the season. TFSW has managed to get knocked out of 2 trophies and widen the gap with the 2 Manchester teams.
At best Chelsea might win one of the 2 domestic cups, realistically they'll win 4th place and get a semi final appearance in the league cup.
Chelsea have regressed over the last 18 months (under AVB, RDM, TFSW) which is astonishing considering the amount of money that has been spent to 1) improve the coaching set up and 2) the squad.
I still believe that there is enough talent in the squad and that Ivanovich-Terry-Cahill are our best CB, Azpilicueta will do well as RB, Cole should get a 2 year deal, period. Midfield is solid but the striker role is the most obvious one where we're lacking strength and depth.
Anyway, we're playing Dirty Leeds this week and that's something to look forward to apparently.

Fair few comments already, looking like this is going to be a popular one Mr O.
Those Northerners have got a chip on their shoulder haven't they? -

A goal off a free-kick or a corner is not a 'longball game'
Nearly every Kopite I speak to(off here) seem to think Brenda could be the new messiah and have believed all this 'philosophy/youth system' shite...that was up until Saturday

Gravy should be served with meat. Always.

Is McAnuff now inline for a 3 match ban?

Chips + gravy = gold.
This.
Gravy mix is a delicacy that is too much for some southern tastes.
Start with Cheese on chips, then progress to the Bean mix, then (and only then) will you be ready for gravy poured on deep fried potatoes.

clearly not as the ref saw it and gave a yellow card.. you're aware of the rules with this aren't you?

Anyway. I'm disappoint. I reference Kissinger, false 9's, barca, conspiracy, platini, and no biting from Clive?

The softness of approach was deliberate. After having too much stripped out of my West Ham piece, I decided to go for a more subtle presentation. It seems to have upset those northern muppets which is what it was intended to achieve. That as well as plug Luci's book.

Other than the antisemetic bit, nothing to challenge or complain of there.

MG, do you really want a lengthy and further discussion on the corrupt practices of the two major Spanish sides?
