Liverpool have turned the corner, as have Everton.

Corner? If Foy was the ref, he would have awarded a goal kick

Roman, and Man City, PSG, etc, don't care that they are ruining it for everyone else.
Sport shouldn't be about being able to buy the best team.
It should be able getting the best out of the players you have, using tactics & training, not money, to win.

And yes, I know, before you say it, Liverpool have been as guilty of that in the past as well.

^ Glad you posted that...

I thought Jo Guest was Chesterfield. We have Kieran Lee, he's been in hundreds of movies, often as the main part.

As have Arsenal, ManU and various other clubs.
It's only when the cosy little cabal (remember G14) gets threatened that they all start crying foul.

While there are many things wrong with North American sports, one thing they get right is fairness.
Things like the the draft systems, salary caps, etc are stacked against people buying the league, at least over a long period of time.
Yet teams like the Patriots, Lakers, etc still manage to be the best, simply by being really fucking good at what they do.
I like that mindset, and wish we had it in football.

It's not all about winning.
Gold. Is that how liverpool plastics are justifying supporting them now?

• #70142
Haven't you got some colouring in to go and do?

I don't clock in 'til 8am... Oh wait...

What about the lockouts?

Good performance by spurs today, put together a solid 90mins of football, had the better of the possession and the better chances. Dempsey had a better game, good pass for both 2nd and 3rd goals and hit the bar. Bale looked lively throughout and Lloris is settling in and showing his class, as he gets a run in the side...

Also john h, think you're being naive if you believe that money doesn't talk in American sports. Yes they have more mechanisms in place to try to artificially level the playing field but big market teams still have a financial advantage when seeking out free agents and paying them big money to sign on the dotted line..

On current facial hair, name a better one?
Loving Baines' look. He should play in a top hat. -

Only if they are below the salary cap...
Of course money is still a factor, but you couldn't do what Chelsea and City have done.

Saw MOTD on Saturday night.
Very impressed with Michael Owens Movember effort but less so with his punditry.
He has to be the worst of all of themumm he's made a strong run into the box
umm a strong run
umm he's then had a good shot and umm the keepers made a great save there ummmmMy God. Get on with it >>>>>>>>>>>
"remember Jose? When we spent more per point than anyone ever?"
