I am very sorry to see a man who I have admired for years treated so abruptly. That said, would we prefer to be like Arsenal, a club who holds on to an iconic manager because he once won a few things (but never the biggest one of them all) even though he hasn't won anything for years and is destined never to win a trophy again?
The answer is no. So let's move on. Have a temporary manager until the end of the season. Hopefully pick up a trophy or two but most importantly qualify for the Champions League next year and then bring in a top manager to take things forward.

I agree completely Clive but don't you think he should have been given a little more time? Saying that I'd completely understand if they had a new guy lined up already.
As I said above 2 trophies last season in the space of 3 months and 3 weeks ago we were top of the league.
