  • This.

Which does mean that there are 3 other people to testify for/against him.

I'm so sick of this shit in football, and I'm sick of football generally - so much money, corruption, doping etc etc... not to mention the idiots playing (and running) the game.

I'm not going to be putting any of my money into football (directly) in future - no going to matches, no shirts, no Sky. Illegal streams, MOTD and shop beers.

    #dropintheocean

well said sir it has been going down hill since around 1989 / 90 hasn't it

i am going to use this reason to justify my not having been to anfield for a year or two now

  • Assistants are unlikely to have heard much. There was a huge amount of noise at that time. Three players heard what was said. He should have just said that "monkey" was an affectionate term where he comes from, apologised if he had given offence and the whole thing would have gone away. Instead he confronted the players and staff and made even more accusations against them. Arrogant twerp.

  • Is the silence of Rio Ferdinand, Jason Roberts et al, due to the fact that Mikel is African?

  • I do hope that the FA give us Clattenburg for our next home game - against Liverpool. It would be wonderful occasion. Either he will send off every Chelsea player and abuse them at will as he does so because he can and rules don't apply when Chelsea are concerned or he will try and buy his way back into our good books by sending off every Liverpool player and give us a couple of penalties.

    Lol.
Rules do not apply where Liverpool are concerned either
Equalizing goal in the FA cup final anyone?
Last minute winner against Everton anyone?

Perhaps he will send off every single player and award the three points to United?
That's the only way you monkies will avoid us taking all the points >>>>>>>>>>

Can you spot the foul in the build up Mike?

    The flag was for offside
And any case. We are in a position where a player can no longer use his height to an advantage in the penalty area have we?

  • howard has moved off his line - foul

oh clive, my dear chap, how do the terry racist thing and the clattenberk incident differ
you defended terry to the hilt and now you are defending mikel and mata to the hilt
you can't have it both ways you know

  • Yes he can. He's in the legal profession.

  • Is the silence of Rio Ferdinand, Jason Roberts et al, due to the fact that Mikel is African?

What can they say? they didn't witness it, absolutly zero point in getting involved till we find out who's going to get shafted. Then it's bandwagon time

yeah, i suppose as long as you argue your point well enough the senile old biffer up in the high chair will believe whatever he's told !

    like judge nutmeg

    before its too late

  • Maybe the viewing public should just accept the referees decisions full stop and fuck off and watch another sport if they don't like it?

I agree, but it's not going to happen is it.

  • Maybe if people stopped thinking that they deserve entertainment from the game, that would be good.

  • But when you pay £45 per match at The Bridge, you would expect something in return. Otherwise you may as well go the the theatre

  • Yes. A game of football over which my ticket entry doesn't have any effect.

  • How about the footy eh? Mental!

  • Is the silence of Rio Ferdinand, Jason Roberts et al, due to the fact that Mikel is African?

Is this trying to imply that Roberts and Ferdinand, and perhaps Afro-Caribbeans in general think that Africans are fair game for racism? I'm no expert on these matters, so just interested to know where you are going with this....

FWIW - I agree with your earlier sentiments regarding players having no right of reply against referees and any suggestion of abuse of players from referrees needs to be investigated and dealt with promptly.

  • I am not seeking to imply anything. It just seems that many "black British" players and former players were up in arms when a "black British" player was allegedly abused but are not now when a Nigerian player is abused. I was trying to understand what the difference was.

  • . ooops

  • Clive: its simple, everyone hates Chelsea.

I bet if mikel played for fulham, everyone would be up in arms.

  • Damo, once again, you have hit the nail on the head.

  • But when you pay £45 per match at The Bridge, you would expect something in return. Otherwise you may as well go the the theatre

    It's £60 this season #ripoffbridge

  • Unfortunately, they'll always be the baddies in the epl soap until the "Russian" takes his "filthy cash" away.

That or wait until the press start laying into citeh.

  • Chelsea were never successful, so there are very few of the former players infesting the media.

Except for Graeme Le Saux. And he's got Blackburn to thank.
