The whole team appeared to be in disarray, with Gervinho seemingly unable to string anything any good together. The midfield have gone from being one of the most creative in the Prem to one which doesn't appear to have any decent ideas. The defence were just a comedy of errors.

There were too many loose balls floating across the Arsenal boxes at either end during both halves.

Schalke on the other hand, were organised and had a decent couple of shots that were successful.

Not a bad summary. I'm pretty worried that we are consistently drawing blanks in games. I don't know why Giroud wasn't started - seemed like a stupid decision and it was.

Andre Santos can literally fuck off, and then fuck right off some more - his idiocy and total lack of defensive cover as well as the fact that Jenkinson was the only right sided player for most of the match, gave us a hideous balance.

Gibbs, Diaby, Walcott and now Ox being injured has had a pretty damaging affect on us.
