Chelsea, Arsenal and City are dragging the good name of English football through the mud.
The sooner Liverpool get back to their rightful place in the CL the better, and show them how it's done.
waits for explosion of rage from Islington
Yep
The sooner UEFA realise that without Liverpool in the CL, English teams flounder and are a joke. If our representatives continue this donkyness then we will lose one or two places.
It's a fucking joke that the champions of England are bottom of their group and look like proper muppets in Europe. WTF are they doing? -

Oh, and one of the newest London airports, just down the road from my parents place, and probably the furthest of the 9 London airports.
So Pisti would be OK to support Arsenal.
Lived in Oxford, which is now London - check
Lives in Islington - check -

I was offered a ticket for Arsenal v Schalke this evening.
The Effeminates is a rather soulless experience but more alarmingly, the home team who graced the pitch offered a totally lacklustre performance.
The whole team appeared to be in disarray, with Gervinho seemingly unable to string anything any good together. The midfield have gone from being one of the most creative in the Prem to one which doesn't appear to have any decent ideas. The defence were just a comedy of errors.
There were too many loose balls floating across the Arsenal boxes at either end during both halves.
Schalke on the other hand, were organised and had a decent couple of shots that were successful.
Arsenal are a shadow of their former fast passing, free flowing football selves.
If I was a Gooner, I'd fear for the future.

Like I said the other day. This is the season Arsenal are finally exposed as a mid-table team of the past.
It's been a long time coming -

Lol do the really do that?
I'm surprised they don't produce a little pamphlet explaining what is required of a fan during the game. They can't all read Clives Weather Reports -

Haha. Curious that neither of you noticed the plastic flags that LFC laid out for its fans at Wembley for last year's FA Cup final.

That was FA Cup Final when Liverpool came second. Highlight of your season.

I think you'll find that was our sweet new kit deal. -

do you guys read my posts?
Yes of course. I'm just amazed that a club will need to lay down plastic flags for non-plastic fans.

No, you're wrong. The FA supplied plastic flags in both sections of the stadium.

It's a tricky one, I think we're going to get a spanking tbh
It depends if they bring the stars out to play who might just dominate our youth/2nd side. If we put out the 1st teamers we'll get turned over of sunday.
Be interesting to see how Rodgers plays this
-
• #67597
He'll probably go with his usual blend of youth and experience.
I expect Gerrard, Suarez, Skertel to be left on the bench initially. Possibly even Sterling. Although at 17, you should have no problem playing tonight and then destroying Neverton at the weekend -
