alfie is a fuckin plastic >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
That's what I tell him. His considered response was that Arsenal is his grandfather's team so good sense has just skipped a generation. I'm inclined to agree with him about this on many issues, but not this one.

I think Alfie will go far.

I was going to have an impassioned rant about pisti's fixation about plastics, but the above posts have made it redundant..
well played Marky and Jonny. Well played...

Anything that stops you going off on one or, as it should be called, "doing a Corny"...
-
• #65607
We're all missing the point here. And that point is:
England are playing and we're all going around in circles. -
• #65608
marky shouldn't that be falling off one..

Depends whether you are a decent parent ot not. Basically the hierarchy of parents is (best at top) -
West Ham parents - West Ham kids
Other Team Parents - West Ham kids
West Ham parents - Other Team kids
Other Team parents - Same Team kids
Other Team parents - Different Team (non-West Ham) kidsWell all my Mrs and her family are West Ham AND he's got/had two West Ham babygrow's
He does however have an Everton football

Considering all the dabbling in mediocrity he'll most likely turn out to be a Gooner.

Brazil will.

my dad supported nottingham forest. AFAIK he has never even been to nottingham. what a fucking plastic
You say plastic, I say sensible.

Too right, who would want to go to Nottingham? It's a diabolical shithole full of twats.

Just listened to a Milner interview on SSN, fuck me he's dull...almost as dull as that Welsh cunt Michael Owen
What is it with footballers in interviews, every other sentence HAS to have 'Like I say' in it!

His second team is Dagenham and Redbridge then.
Can I make a suggestion that the football discussions are split into two threads? One for all you
who never go to a gameproper premier league supporters and a thread for allthose who regularly watch theirtinpot clubs that play in lower leagues/divisions. -
• #65618
That would leave B&D jumping between threads each summer. Best to keep domestic football all in one place.

How very dare you?!

Going to Boston on Saturday to watch my first Chester FC game of the season.
They've marched straight through two divisions since their formation, and seem to have found their feet pretty well in the Conference North as well. Seven wins from seven so far - which is still only good enough for second place. But they beat one of the other teams who had had maximum points 4-0 at the weekend. Fan power working well again.

fuck me David Bentley has gone on loan to Russia!
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/feedarticle/10426806
Is that the furthest an English player has gone for football? And I'm not including Australia or America in that, since they both speak english, or some slightly understandable version of it...
I bet his wage packet is nothing to laugh at.
So, my lad might start supporting the team his Dad supports(Everton) then pick the local shitter team - Arsenal?
Well I have tried to instil a love of QPR in my son, but tbh he is not interested....however he does get more excited when we go past the Emirates (we go to see my best mate and his kids who live round the corner from the Arse regularly) than when we go past Loftus road which has me a wee bit worried. Next season I am going to be taking him down to the Loft on a regular basis and can only hope that will ensure he follows my footsteps in supporting the Hoops. That said we live in Camden/Euston and with all the local kids being overwhelmingly Gooners I may lose this battle in the end :(
