we'll play a stronger squad and have the 12th man present and carroll might have got over his " hamstring injury / stop him being cup tied for newcastle for the europa league injury " and bang a few home
group stages ( i hope ) here we come
agree though, we weren't great
shelvey and spearing and adam looked a bit lost in the middle
sometimes the ball needed a good hoof clear and they all seemed reluctant to do it -

Hearts deserved something last night, Liverpool were shite
2-1 Hearts @ Anfield
On one of those 'famous European nights at Anfield' ? With the Kop acting as a '12th man sucking the ball into the net' ?
I think not.
No-mark teams from Ex-Soviet satellite hellholes, are quaking in their boots at the prospect of meeting one of 'Europe's Giants'.

Great atmosphere last night, thought we were the better team, we'll have a very loud support travelling down to liverpool and we're definitely still in it.

some interesting facts about liverpool in europe last night
since 2005 european cup winners, semi finalists, finalists, quaterfinalists
europa cup quarter finalists and semi finalists
i think

Yes, it was good run wasn't it?
I suspect we might do better in europe than the league this year, which might not be such a bad thing. -

Fuck me, even Fulham would've taken more than 47!!
Ha! You're calling me plastic? When was the last time you went to an everton match? You can't be the biggest plastic on the forum simply because you have a problem with your chairman. get over it man... they're all shite. nothing special about ken!
Also, I went to the spurs match on saturday, going to the chelsea match tomorrow, AND i'm an impoverished student who has a masters dissertation in for a week today.do one ;-)

Last season, there'll be plenty more this season too. I live in London, not Liverpool.
Anyway, 47 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

this is true up to a point. if you go out and buy a player for 40 mil which the market determines to be worth 5 mil then when you go to sell him on the next day his value will be.......wait for it.....drum roll.......5 mil. Not that anybody would buy him the next day, they would be too busy laughing at your transfer dealings to be able to do anything.
Can't tell if talking theoretical or about KK dealings

Not good but will be interesting who plays up front, Fellaini on his todd or with Naismith/Mirallas? Heitinga to come in for Jags.
-
• #64496
to early in the season for predo's s
but i predict liverpool will get trounced by citeh 5-1
-
• #64497
The obvious choice would be Heitinga in for Jags but interested to see who'll start in place of Jelavic. I'd say you're right, probably Naismith but not necessarily as a lone striker, maybe drop Fella back a bit on push Osman out wide - can't see him starting with Mirallas, defo on the bench though I reckon
I just hope he doesn't bring that useless lump Anichebe on
-
• #64498
Anichebe dont remind me, I'm amazed he's still at the club. Hopefully he won't get a game this season.
