  • I will be spending my saturday accompanying a friend to Everton Fulham at Goodison Park. I'm not sure who I should be cheering for. I will be in the Everton enclosure..

And all I have to pay for is food and drink. My plasticness knows no bounds..

  • Please come to tottenham guardiola

  • You've got more chance of getting Jurgen back.

  • Pep to Arsenal in the summer of 2013. You heard it here first.

That's only about 2 years old, part of the Fabregas deal...he'll be going back to Arsenal too at the same time

    Plastic

See how many Fulham fans you can count, shouldn't take too long and only need two hands

  • Corny, wear your Barcelona shirt.

  • Barcelona probably play 60+ official games during the course of a season. Burnout is an understatement, the way he's involved with analysis, training, coaching and managing the team is beyond the imaginable. He pretty much works 12 hours a day 7 days a week, he has taken 4 weeks holiday over the the last 5 years.

The same goes for any manager, at almost any level - they all work like dogs, and Pep probably has / had it easier than most, for instance think of the poor chaps in Serie A who have been sacked twice by the same club in the same season.

Still, great manager, shame that he's going.

  • do not fuck this up today Woy

  • Big goal for southampton. good one and all!

  • Southampton to go up automatically (looks almost certain now) and Boro to sneak into the playoffs and go up please. Failing that, sack Mowbray and we'll have him back at Ipswich.

Not sure I agree with that. There aren't many managers whose lives and careers are so intertwined with a club's history, the need to live up to his heroes (Cruyff etc.) and to get the best out of the best players in the world must have been enormous. There's the weight of expectation, and then there's living up to the demands and expectations of Barca fans and football fans. Plus I don't think there are many other football managers who are quite so maniacal in their preparations, and who heap so much pressure on themselves.

  • Boro to sneak into the playoffs and go up please.

Fuck that. i don't want to go back to that smoggy shit hole. You southern lads ever been to middlesborough?

  • I'm actually not a Southern lad, I'm a plastic Ipswich fan from the north, but I can't imagine Middlesborough is much worse than Widnes.

    You bollocks.

  • At least West Ham aren't going up, automatically anyway.

  • FFS, Chelsea sign Marko Marin. Great up-and-coming German player.

  • Interesting signing, although he has been somewhat eclipsed in the Bundesliga by the likes of Mario Gotze, Marco Reus and Shinji Kawaja.
