I thought that Liverpool got an automatic bye to the final. It is their competition. We just need to beat Minuch to play them.

UEFA are in talks with Barcelona and Real Madrid with a view to holding a "minor final".
"Football lovers all over the world were looking forward to seeing these two great teams pitting their skills against each other in the Champions League Final and it seems a pity to deprive fans of such entertainment" said a UEFA spokesman.
Although no date has been set for the match, it seems likely to take place on the evening of 19 May.

most of the world would be more interested in the 3rd 4th playoff game
i don't think they'd let it overshadow the final -
• #58231
Perhaps they should do that with the winners playing Liverpool.
-
• #58232
divine right to be in the final
i like your thinking -

Also be very cautious of women throwing themselves at you. These are likely to be after your money and not irresistibly drawn to your Adonis like physique. There are plenty of prostitutes operating very openly on the streets and most of them come with a little extra surprise, whether it be HIV or a penis.
wow
It'll be a lot harder to offend at the same levels for the Munich game...

Perhaps in your part of Liverpool but I suspect that the final will have a larger television audience than the recent El Classico, a game in which there was something at stake.

3rd 4th place playoff is a stupid idea.. would have expected the fa to come up with that

I'm sticking my neck out here but if Chelsea do somehow manage to win the CL I'll have to hold my hands up and admit that they'll be right up there with Aston Villa

And there I was telling someone that if RDM got the job full time on the back of a CL win, it would be an inspired appointment up along side that of Tony Barton

As a passionate Chelsea hater. One has to take their hat off to RDM and wish him well. Although Chelsea are completely without style, he may just be their saving grace.
It will be a shame if he is overlooked for the job. -

John Terry, the David May of his generation.
-
• #58248
Although, to the best of my knowledge, David May wasn't a card carrying racist.
-
• #58249
FFS, I was actually going to "support" Chelsea in the final. It's going to be difficult now.

who me whut ? i only kicked him gently
Shouldn't Ribbery be in prison for noncing on a fourteen year old? Or was that all tabloid nonsense?
The final will pit two of the greatest divers ever to 'grace' the game against one another. It will not be easy supporting a German team, but needs must I guess
