You're probably right, but who really cares, it's not that often that you get to beat the world's best team. Let us enjoy it while it lasts.

Knife edge there. Nervous the whole time. Lets hope we can perform away please !!

shows you what a little bit if luck can do. soak up the pressure and hit 'em on the break, straight out of the 1961 managers handbook.
-
• #57284
Thats the only way you'll beat a team like that.

I bet Clive had a rectal prolapse when Drogba's goal went in.

But luck played a big part today as did the weather I believe.

Boring game .. plenty of stroking the ball around the box. Cahill was superb and stifled Messi all night. Barcelonas no plan-B gameplan was tedious.
We were a Bendtner toe-poke away from victory there last season. Chelsea can definitely do 'em at the Camp Nou.

well played Chelsea. The fact that their only option was to defend with total discipline is a testament to Barcelona who play the game at the very highest level. Not sure what 'no plan B' means when it comes to Barcelona who did everything but score. It's a percentage game that works well. Play like that and the percentages are massively in your favour that you will score. The opposition has to be disciplined, lucky and brave. Chelsea were all three tonight. Barcelona will know that the chances are that if they play the same way next week they will be in the final.
i did notice Arsenal lapsed into plan B against Wigan the other night....plenty of high balls into the box in the last 15 minutes (let's be generous and call them crosses) while victor moses went about his business strictly to plan A.
On a side note i thought Fabregas was weak when it came to the crunch -

You can try and brush it aside as barca seeing the home leg as a comfortable task, but they wanted to win this badly to put the whole 2009 saga to bed, and they couldn't.
Well played chelsea.
