Keep taking the tablets.
Invincibles season? Was that the one where they drew a game by diving for a penalty? High point of Arsenal. Diving. It was also the season where they were knocked out of the CL in the quarter finals. I seem to remember that game.

it helps we play chelsea in between their two barca matches.
we just can not fuck this up.

a chelsea fan bemoans diving. you couldn't make it up. the team that contains one of the most prolific divers of all time, drogba.
but i do remember that wayne bridge sucker punch yes.
going undefeated in the league (and yeah drawing loads of games) was a fantastic achievement, but we should and could have achieved so much more that season.
and i also reckon chelsea's 95-points season in 04-05 was equally impresive.
winning a one game and losing one game is better than drawing two. -

I have only just seen a PM I received yesterday asking for a ticket to last night's game. Thank you whoever suggested that I would be happy to give up mey seat.
I am afraid that my sarcastic nature got the better of me in my response. I am sorry:
Sorry, only just seen this. Sadly couldn't even give tickets away so just binned them.

Clive on form :)
"Finally, our dear friends from Everton, most of whom hail from Swindon and all of whom (well those that can read and use the Internet, which limits it somewhat) are miserable little muppets as evidenced by their upset when it is suggested that they share a common heritage with red scousers."

Clubs managed by BFS have never played particularly attractive football - we know that, but the inability to score more than our opponents is something that really seems new to us. Playing the "West Ham way" certainly won't win us anything either, but now's the time when BFS is put to the test. Dropping points against teams who're way below us is just as bad as not picking up points against our compatriots.
I reckon he should play the young Morrison fella (who indeed appears more focused on his football despite ALL the reports contrary to this). CCole has demonstrated that once again he's not even good enough to be considered being called "a decent championship player" (like Anton Ferdinand) and really needs to pull his finger out if he wants to continue with us. As far as I'm concerned he's not good enough - there has to be a reason why Chelsea let him go for £40.
Alarmingly and most importantly for me, we've been the worst team in so many games this season and still walked away with the result. IF (and it's a huge IF at the moment) we're not promoted, I predict further losses of players who have been key to us which will leave us languishing in mid-table mediocrity with other also-rans.

I'd rather pay money to watch Fulham than West Ham at the moment

What a quandary for Pisti junior - listen to your mother and all her family banging on about WHU with the possibility of attending a game because it's relatively local or listen to your old man just banging on about Kenwright, boycotting and the glory days.
Tough choice for the little fella...

The Mrs hates football and his Grandad lives in Thailand, his uncle lives in Basildon and don't go any more
His Dad has been watching Everton for 30yrs and STILL goes the match
UNFORTUNATELY Pisti Jnr, was born in Islington and can see The Emirates from his bedroom window

Pisti Jnr, was born and lives in Islington and has never been to a football match.
Surely this qualifies him to be a Kopite??

^That's a bit harsh. Never wish LFC on an unpolluted mind.
Poor little blighter can see the Emirates from his bedroom window?
Careful he doesn't soak up the lack of atmosphere.

Are you saying Pisti had no choice in where he lives? Sorry - just realised not addressed to me.

Gooners, anyone keeping tabs on Miyaichi over at Bolton? He's a 19 y.o Japanese kid whose first foray into professional football was a half-season loan at Feyenoord last year, and by all accounts he's been Bolton's best player over the last 2 months or so. His crossing has really improved since he was over at Feyenoord, that was to me his one weak point, judging by the odd YT clips I saw last season.
Unbelievable pace, great close control, he's just an exciting player to watch. Raw talent.
Slightly embellished piece on him :)

and Arsenal to go on a storming run winning every single remaining league game and finishing the season in glorious third with 79 points. van persie to get 5 more goals taking his league season tally to 31 surpassing Henry in the Invincibles season.
