According to reports Tevez is close to playing for Citeh again? Does anyone else think this will coincide with a slide down the table and will be talked about in the press for the next 20 years. Like when Newcastle bought that bendy bloke?

Quite the opposite Mike. I wonder what the odds are for him to score more goals than Carroll and Torres combined.

Tevez will be motivated to earn a new contract elsewhere. If he's selected I suggest he'll do what he does best, harry the opponents, work hard, link up play and score a couple of important goals. He'll put a new gloss on City's season. Could be the piece to push them over the edge towards the title.
Despite what anyone may think of his desire to extricate himself from his contract, he is an important player for City, and will help the team when/if he returns. And it's mutually beneficial for both team and player, for Tevez to perform. He does well, he gets move he wants, he does well, City get the price they want for him. Simples.

Have they also won the European Cup five times?
No Mike, Liverpool knocked them out of at least one European cup competition. For someone who bangs on about the historical achievements of "your" club, you're abit Fordian in your consideration of it sometimes. ("history is bunk" etc. And so on)

They used to be good but are now shite. Their fans are from everywhere but St Etienne. Their fans still thinkg the club are going to be great again next season.
